This position involves assisting operators with daily maintenance requests, performing advanced troubleshooting, and actively participating in and leading preventive maintenance (PM) activities. The Maintenance Technician 3 will be responsible for equipment rebuilds and fabrication when necessary, and will collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager, Electronic Technicians, and building maintenance teams on various projects. This role also includes training and mentoring other technicians, fostering a proactive and efficient maintenance environment.Responsibilities and Activities:Executes equipment tear-downs and rebuilds as required for effective troubleshooting and repair.Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently, minimizing downtime.Orders and installs replacement parts, managing inventory as needed.Performs routine and advanced maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment and machinery.Identifies and repairs complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems.Conducts machine set-ups for production operations, ensuring readiness and efficiency.Responds promptly to equipment "red lights" to troubleshoot mechanical problems and resolve material issues.Conducts comprehensive preventive maintenance activities, including lubrication, and strictly adhere to PM schedules.Monitors equipment performance, makes necessary adjustments, and identifies potential problems proactively.Keeps accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed.Adheres to all safety procedures and regulations, including lock-out/tag-out and HazCom.Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's overall success.EEO StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer. This position is responsible for operating or assisting in a direct mail manufacturing environment with a focus on reduction in cost related errors, exceeding client expectation, and driving a safe workplace.
