We are people focused with a CARE culture at the center of everything we do.Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Food & Beverage will direct and coordinate activities of the hotel to maintain a positive environment for associates and guests where optimum efficiency and economy of operations maximizes its full potential through a balanced focus on people, product and profit.The objectives of the Director of Food & Beverage are to achieve marketing, sales, profitability and quality service goals for the Food & Beverage Department by developing and executing marketing strategies. Preparing and executing the budget, providing quality service to the guests and employing leadership and managerial skills effectively.Duties include:Responsible for motivating and managing a team of front and back of the house food and beverage associates.Develop and recommend the budget, marketing plans and objectives and manages within those approved plansParticipate in total hotel management as a member of the Hotel Executive CommitteeImplement and maintain F&B sales/marketing programsDirect and oversee development of employeesHire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance and salary reviewsDirect the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for food and beverage operationsCoordinate food and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest serviceResolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and qualityImplement procedures to increase guest and associate satisfactionExercise quality control for both food and beverageMaintaining standards of service and ensure their implementationPerforming daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and brand standardsCoach and counsel employees to reflect brand service standards and procedures
Responsibilities
5 years or more of progressive hotel with extensive Food and Beverage experienceService oriented style with professional presentations skillsAt least 2 years’ experience in a senior role in a Luxury Food and Beverage environmentProven leadership skillsHotel/Hospitality degree or equivalent experiienceClear concise written and verbal communication skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelMust have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skillsExperience implementing new F&B concepts and experiences#key exec
