Summary of Functions The Equipment Operator (Public Works) operates heavy machinery to maintain public infrastructure such as roads, drainage systems, and public facilities. You would be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of a Street Sweeper. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate graders, dump trucks, and excavators for public works projects. Support drainage and stormwater system maintenance. Perform snow removal, street sweeping, and debris cleanup. Inspect and maintain equipment daily. Ensure compliance with municipal and safety regulations. Organizational Relationships Reports to Public Works Supervisor. Works with streets and public works crews. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 24 years public works equipment experience. CDL license required or ability to obtain. Knowledge of public works safety practices. Physical Demands Outdoor work with frequent lifting and equipment operation. Exposure to weather, noise, and construction environments. Lead Wastewater Operator The Lead Operator is responsible for training and overseeing the daily activities of Operators and solving complex operations problems and performing maintenance/operations activities at water/wastewater treatment facilities. Minimum Oklahoma B level Wastewater. Day shift, Sunday through Wednesday (4:30am to 3:00pm). Responsibilities Manages day-to-day activities of operating and maintenance of treatment facilities. Allocates work and provides technical direction, assistance and training to other personnel. Ensures that all SOPs are followed, and DOT, OSHA and other requirements are met. Makes recommendations for improving SOPs. Interacts with Operations Manager to ensure safety and permit compliance. Interacts with contract laboratories to ensure proper reporting limits and any QA/QC issues Communicates with client and customers related to routine technical aspects of operations and responds to inquiries. Trains employees on proper plant operations, repair and installation techniques, SOPs and safe work practices. Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED and 5-7 years water/wastewater experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Licenses/Certifications : Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred). Water/Wastewater Operator's License specific to state and site-specific requirements. Other licenses may vary according to specific site and assignments. This role involves hands-on operation and maintenance of equipment at our wastewater facility. Wastewater Experience required, Class 4 or above Wastewater License preferred. Responsibilities Operate a wide range of equipment and machinery, including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, and vehicles. Conduct routine testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production wells and water/wastewater systems. Perform and document treatment processes and equipment maintenance; track daily flow and chemical usage. Respond to callouts and after-hours emergencies involving treatment equipment, instrumentation, and electrical systems. Ensure the facility remains secure and clean; perform grounds maintenance as needed. Train employees on plant operations, repair and installation procedures, SOPs, and safety practices. Deliver customer service as needed and communicate with clients regarding routine technical operations. Coordinate maintenance activities within the treatment facility. Perform additional duties as assigned. Willing to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and during 24-hour emergency call-outs.     Take the next step in your career with Inframark! We are hiring a Jet Vac Truck Operator with a Class A CDL license to join our team in the Conyers, GA area. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining Vac Trucks and related equipment, primarily supporting stormwater operations in the local community.

    The starting hourly rate is dependent upon experience.

    What You’ll Do

    Drive vac truck with crew to job sites and lead the operation of heavy equipment to dig/back-fill trenches, lift or move heavy loads, assist in pipeline installation/repair, and clean drainage ditches.Operate large trucks to transport equipment or materials to/from work sites.Perform maintenance on heavy machinery such as lubricating parts, adjusting tracks, replacing hydraulic hoses, flushing radiators, and changing fuses.Use pneumatic tools including jackhammers or saws for breaking concrete or cutting pipes.Perform grading tasks using levels to ensure compliance with road resurfacing specifications.Lead or assist with miscellaneous projects such as masonry work, line location, debris clearing, and drainage maintenance.Ensure worksite safety with proper signage, traffic cones, and flagging as needed.Complete work orders and reports accurately; attend safety training and adhere to all safety policies.Collaborate effectively with team members and the public while following company policies.

    What We Need from You

    High school diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training requiredMinimum of 3-5 years relevant experience preferredValid Class A CDL with ability to meet driving and safety standardsSkilled in operating heavy equipment and using appropriate tools and methods with awareness of public safety and the impact of equipment operationSkilled at reading and implementing directions, conducting routine calculations, and resolving simple issuesComfortable working in varying weather conditions and environments with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and other hazardsFrequent standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing required; ability to lift 50+ lbs and exert heavier force as neededNormal vision, hearing, and depth perception required; availability for overtime and non-standard hours
