About IndySoft
IndySoft specializes in industrial software for high-precision manufacturing and calibration industries. The software applications we produce are used worldwide and are relied upon by many of the most successful and well-known enterprise customers and commercial calibration labs. We take pride in our unique approach to customer service and implementation, and our commitment to providing top-tier support to our clients is what sets us apart.
The Opportunity
At IndySoft, we take pride in our unique approach to customer service and implementation. Our commitment to providing top-tier support to our clients sets us apart from other organizations, and we are looking for a Project Manager who shares this passion and is willing to grow with us. For this role, we are looking for an early-career project manager who wants to grow into an outstanding one, with the coaching, ownership, and runway to get there. You will own customer upgrade and cloud conversion projects, moving customers from legacy and older on-premise versions onto our latest cloud platform, and you will direct the Implementation Coordinators assigned to support your projects.
You will not be thrown in alone. You will work closely with, and learn directly from, our Implementation Manager, picking up the planning, communication, and migration discipline that makes a great PM. Your focus is on-time go-lives, clean migrations, and happy customers. If you are organized, curious, and want to be trusted with real ownership early, this is a place to grow fast.
Our Core Values
The ideal candidate embodies IndySoft's Core Values:
We Care: About our customers and each other.
We Persist: Overcoming challenges to ensure success.
We Engineer Creative Solutions: Innovating to solve problems and deliver value.
We Innovate for the Future: Anticipating tomorrow's needs today.
We Take the Lead: Setting the standard in enterprise asset management.
What a Right Fit Looks Like
We are looking for a motivated, early-career professional who is ready to grow into a strong project manager. You may come from a coordinator, support, operations, or junior PM background. What matters most is the way you work:
Organization isn't just part of the job, it's part of who you are. A love for keeping things organized, focused, and easily reportable is instilled in your essence.Ownership means a lot to you, and you want to follow through on any task to gain a resolution no matter what. You are a caring, empathetic individual with some technical knowledge and a strong desire to learn more.Learning new tools and products comes easily, and you are excited to dig into software, data migration, and configuration so you can better understand how implementation works at IndySoft.Leadership is in your mindset. You like helping teammates succeed, and you are comfortable directing Implementation Coordinators who support your projects, even though they are not your direct reports. You are coachable. You take feedback well, ask good questions, and turn what you learn into better work on the next project.
What You Will Do
Project delivery (with support, growing to full ownership)
Help run, then progressively own, upgrade and cloud conversion projects from kickoff through go-live, with coaching from the Implementation Manager.Build and maintain project plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, and resourcing across multiple concurrent customers.Run kickoff calls, status updates, and go-live readiness reviews, keeping every stakeholder clear on progress, risks, and next steps.Track timelines, flag slippage early, and escalate clearly when you need help to protect the go-live date.
Upgrade and cloud conversion execution
Learn and lead the move from legacy or older on-premise versions to the latest IndySoft cloud platform.Coordinate data migration, configuration, and validation so customer asset, calibration, and history data transfers accurately with zero loss.Partner with technical resources on environment setup, integrations, and cutover planning, then verify the customer is fully live on the current version.
Working with the coordinator team
Direct the Implementation Coordinators assigned to your projects, giving them clear tasks and priorities (they report to the Implementation Manager, not to you).Review their project work for quality and completeness, and share feedback with them and the Implementation Manager.Help build repeatable playbooks that make each successive upgrade faster, cleaner, and lower risk for the whole team.
White-glove customer experience
Be a trusted, friendly guide through the conversion, setting expectations and managing change so the upgrade feels effortless.Help customers get trained and confident on the new version at go-live.Learn to anticipate friction in regulated environments and address compliance, validation, and audit-readiness concerns.
Where This Role Can Grow
We hire this role to develop, not to stay still. With strong performance, a clear path looks like:
Owning larger and more complex conversions independently, then mentoring others through them.Growing into a senior Implementation Project Manager, taking on the hardest accounts and the conversion playbook.Taking on formal team leadership over time, with a path toward Senior PM or Implementation Manager.Earning PMP or a comparable certification, with our support, as you build the track record to back it.
What You Bring
1 to 3 years of experience in a coordinator, support, operations, implementation, or junior project management role, or comparable transferable experience. Direct PM experience is a plus, not a requirement.Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle several things at once.Clear, friendly written and verbal communication, and comfort talking with both technical and non-technical people.Genuine curiosity about software, with the willingness to learn cloud concepts, data migration, and basic configuration.A desire to lead and support teammates, and the maturity to take feedback and keep improving.Bachelor's degree in any field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
Exposure to software implementations, onboarding, migrations, or upgrades, in any capacity.CAPM, CSM, or progress toward PMP (or interest in earning one).Familiarity with calibration, metrology, quality systems, or regulated industries such as life sciences, aerospace, defense, or energy.Experience with project or collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, or Monday, or a CRM such as HubSpot.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, depending on experience, with room to grow as you take on more ownership. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k. This role is remote or hybrid from Daniel Island, SC, with occasional travel for major go-lives.
Why IndySoft
You will own work that customers feel directly, and you will grow fast doing it. Every conversion you run is the difference between a stressful upgrade and a white-glove experience. You will join a team that cares about customers, persists through hard problems, and takes the lead in our market, and that will invest in you as you build your career. If you are organized, curious, and hungry to grow into an excellent project manager, we encourage you to apply.
