POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Help Deck Technician who provides front-line technical support to IMMI team members globally, ensuring reliable access to IT systems and services. This role works closely with the Senior Help Desk Administrator to maintain hardware, software, and networks, while delivering excellent customer service and technical expertise.
RESPONSIBILITES
• Serve as the first point of contact for end users, providing support on IT networks, hardware, software, and related equipment.
• Respond to and resolve Help Desk tickets and assigned projects promptly, ensuring adherence to the Help Desk Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Record, track, and document the progress of Help Desk tickets from initial submission until final resolution.

This role verifies compliance with IMMI’s Quality Management System (QMS), IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements. Responsibilities include conducting audits and inspections, collecting and analyzing quality data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistent product integrity.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Audit Management
Conduct internal process, product, and system audits to ensure compliance with IMMI’s QMS, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.Perform Layered Process Audits (LPAs) and support external audits (customer, third-party, or regulatory).Document audit findings, track non-conformances, and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) through follow-up audits.Inspection & Verification
Perform in-process, incoming, and final product inspections against engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.Ensure inspection tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) are properly maintained and calibrated.Verify implementation of corrective actions and provide feedback to operators on compliance with quality standards.Corrective & Preventive Actions
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supplier quality teams to investigate non-conformances.Support root cause analysis using methods such as 8D and 5 Whys.Monitor and escalate recurring issues to ensure long-term resolution.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate, up-to-date quality records, reports, and audit documentation in compliance with QMS and document control requirements.Support preparation and readiness for customers, third-party, and regulatory audits.Ensure adherence to OEM-specific and industry quality standards.Continuous Improvement
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement through audit and inspection data.Promote use of quality core tools (FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC) to strengthen processes.Contribute to lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 initiatives within the quality function.Skills & Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered).2–5 years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, or manufacturing quality control (automotive or high-volume production preferred).Strong knowledge of quality standards and systems: IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and OEM requirements.Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and GD&T.Skilled in using precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MES systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Plex).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Understanding of product features, applications, and manufacturing processes.Ability to comply with legal, corporate, and industry responsibilities.Preferred Qualifications
