Full Time Dental Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting and will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental team while ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities
Chairside Assistance
Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals)Hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needsEnsure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
Patient Care & Communication
Greet and prepare patients for treatmentReview medical histories and update patient recordsProvide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education
Sterilization & Infection Control
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelinesOrganize and maintain dental supplies and instrumentsEnsure operatory cleanliness and readiness between appointments
Administrative Support (as needed)
Schedule appointments and confirm visitsAssist with billing, insurance processing, or chartingMaintain accurate treatment documentationQualificationsCertified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferredX-ray certification (Required / Preferred — depending on state regulations)Knowledge of Patient Management Software.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentCompassionate, patient-focused, and team-orientedPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand or sit for extended periods
