As a Canvass Manager, you will lead and develop field marketing teams across multiple territories, driving lead generation through direct outreach efforts. This role focuses on hiring, training, and coaching employees while ensuring team performance meets company goals in a cost-effective manner. You will serve as a hands-on leader in the field, supporting team success and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.

Base Salary: ~$50,000–$55,000On‐Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000–$125,000+
Duties and Responsibilities:
Train, coach, and mentor canvassing team members; identify performance gaps and implement solutions to improve results
Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees to support ongoing team growthPlan, coordinate, and execute daily canvassing activities within assigned territories
Lead by example in the field, actively engaging with customers and generating leads (minimum ~15 hours per week)Motivate team members to meet and exceed lead generation and sales goals
Monitor individual and team performance metrics and adjust strategies to drive resultsSet up and break down events, kiosks, and outreach efforts as needed
Ensure all field activities are professional, compliant, and aligned with company standardsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, community contacts, and business partners
Maintain a high level of professionalism in all customer and team interactionsAccurately track, report, and communicate all canvassing activities and performance data
Complete and submit all required documentation in a timely and accurate mannerManage time, resources, and territory coverage to align with company goals and budgets
Maintain consistent communication with leadership regarding performance, challenges, and opportunitiesFoster a positive, accountable team environment focused on performance and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
2–5 years of leadership or management experience Experience in lead generation, canvassing, or sales environments preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Professional demeanor with strong verbal communication skills Proven ability to motivate teams and drive results
Strong negotiation skills and attention to follow-through Self-motivated with a results-driven mindsetProficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Ability to learn and use CRM and communication tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms)Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions year-round Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Frequent setup and breakdown of event or outreach materials Regular use of office and communication equipmentDaily travel between multiple locations required
