Business Title: Senior Accountant Location: Irvine, CA Work Arrangement: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Overview We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a strong analytical professional with a solid foundation in financial accounting and a collaborative mindset. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and system-related initiatives, while partnering with cross-functional and global teams. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records * Record and post journal entries within the ERP system (Sage 100) * Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring timelines and reporting requirements are met * Perform financial analysis, including investigation of variances and discrepancies * Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation * Execute UAT for Zuora testing using predefined scripts to validate billing and financial data accuracy * Collaborate with U.S.-based and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues * Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of processes, reconciliations, and testing activities * Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * 5+ years of progressive accounting experience * Strong experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and close processes * Experience supporting financial audits * Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Sage 100 preferred) * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills * Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams, including U.S. stakeholders Preferred Qualifications * Experience with system implementations or process improvements * Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) * Familiarity with Zuora or subscription-based billing platforms * Knowledge of revenue recognition principles Salary Range: $75,200 - $115,400 USD annually This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training. Job Title: Accountant Location: Irvine, CA Employment Type: Full-time / Hybrid SUMMARY: We are looking for a responsible, hard-working Senior Accountant that will report directly to the Assistant Controller and work with the finance team to accomplish goals and needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in accounting. Responsibilities include a wide range of accounting and administrative duties to support the finance department. Familiarity with Sage 100 and Microsoft Office applications are valued. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assists the finance team in all the aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual financial closing process including account variance analysis. * Assists the finance team in managing the Company's compliance with its global accounting policies and procedures. * Assists the finance team in managing the internal and external audits / prepared by client schedules assigned to the finance team for timeliness and accuracy. * Owns and drives the reconciliation of intercompany transactions among entities. * Prepares cash flow and working capital reports. * Prepares reconciliations of balance sheet accounts. * Consolidates certain balance sheet accounts for review and analysis and reporting purposes. * Consolidates and prepares detailed budget to actual reports by function. * Maintains statutory books and governance over some legal entities. * Supports and performs different roles within the finance department. * Serves as liaison between departments in the resolution of administrative issues and inquiries. * Prepares reports/analysis as needed for operations or finance department. * Maintains accounting department files and records. * Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, typing, scanning and mailing. * Assists with special projects as needed. * Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
