You will lead recruiting efforts for program enrollment; track program attendance, oversee the budget of the site, and manage any other assigned job responsibilities. Your contribution to the organization is to ensure a safe, organized learning environment for youth by successfully ensuring the assigned program curriculum and daily program activities are implemented. Reporting to the Program Area Manager, you will do this by:Professional Development & Leadership (50%). Aligns daily practices with organization’s mission, vision, and values; Evaluate each member of your team and document employee punctuality, performance on goals, professionalism, disciplinary issues, adherence to company policies in the digital employee file; Administer, execute, and document quarterly and annual performance reviews, training and development plans to help employees succeed in their respective line of work; Provide ongoing classroom management/ discipline/ program facilitation training; Plan training workshops for staff in collaborating with HR; Interview and select new team members for the site in partnership with HR; Communicate role expectations for new team members; Build and execute an onboarding plan for new team members; Maintain strong communication with other Site Supervisors.Program Quality & Management (35%). Oversee program registration, enrollment, and attendance goals, as well as the effective implementation of curriculum for program staff; Enter and maintain youth and family member data into the youth member tracking database; Maintain a daily site schedule and ensure adequate daily staff coverage; Ensure all facilitated programs and activities are culturally competent and age appropriate; Maintain the ability to facilitate in the absence of program staff; Verify and review the proper documentation of disciplinary actions, incident reports, etc are in the youth member tracking system; Consistently deliver behavioral support and consequences as identified in the behavior management plan; Administer evaluation instruments and feedback solutions to youth and families; Set an annual events and activities calendar in conjunction with the Senior Youth Program Leader; Recommend and manage site budget.ICAN Community Partner Ambassador (15%). Establish and nurture relationships with school staff, parents to foster collaboration and support to achieve shared initiatives; Manage and develop working relationships with volunteers; Serve as an ambassador and role model upholding ICAN’s guidelines and rules; Perform all duties and responsibilities with discipline and accountability.Requirements:Experience/SkillsWe care more about who you are than what you’ve done. Engaging in a wide range of team functions designed to prepare you for leadership advancement. You will help build and implement a quality youth program that enriches our youth with confidence, character, connection, competence and contribution. You will assist in recruiting efforts for program enrollment; track program attendance, manage the budget of the assigned site and any other assigned job responsibilities. Your contribution to the organization is to ensure a safe, organized learning environment for youth by successfully ensuring the assigned program curriculum and daily program activities are implemented. Reporting to the Program Site Supervisor, you will do this by:Program Coordination and Facilitation (70%) Promote member retention through positive, professional relations with youth and families; Assist with development, implementation and facilitation of program curricula for K-12th grades; Support ICAN’s Homework Help programming, assisting youth members with homework and/or educational activities including worksheets, reading, etc; Ensure all facilitated programs and activities are culturally competent and age appropriate; Maintain the ability to facilitate research based programming in the absence of program staff; Enter the proper documentation of disciplinary actions, incident reports, etc in the youth member tracking system; Administer feedback solutions and evaluation instruments with additional tools as scheduled, collecting, tracking and monitoring progress toward program outcomes; Create and implement a work plan for all special program events in partnership with the Program Site Supervisor; Manage all the supply needs for the program which includes but is not limited to creating and submitting a purchase order, attaining the supplies from ICAN MAIN, and taking inventory of current supplies.Professional Development & Leadership (20%) In tandem with the Program Site Supervisor you will provide support and guidance to Youth Program Leaders; Collaborate with Program Site Supervisor to identify and facilitate classroom and program performance improvements; Observe employee performance as instructed by Program Site Supervisor; Support onboarding of new team members providing initial classroom management/ discipline/program facilitation training with continuous feedback and motivation to perform at their best.ICAN Community Partner Ambassador (10%). Establish and nurture relationships with school staff, parents and community organizations to foster collaboration and support to achieve shared initiatives; Follow district and school agreement for satellite site to deliver after school programming; Develop working relationships with volunteers; Maintain organized educational learning environment for youth following school guidelines; Serve as an ambassador and role model upholding ICAN’s guidelines and rules; Performs all duties and responsibilities with discipline and accountability.
