    This is an on-call position supporting at-risk youth, ages 14-19, who have experienced neglect or abuse by their caregivers.     JOB SUMMARY:
    The Therapist is responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy to youth in Ibukuns
    therapeutic residential programs. This role supports the emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-
    being of clients through trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based interventions. The
    Therapist collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that promote healing, stability, and long-term success for youth and their families.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Clinical Assessment and Treatment Planning
    Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for all assigned clients.
    Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with youth, families, and the treatment team.
    Regularly review and update treatment goals based on client progress and evolving needs.

    2. Therapeutic Services
    Provide individual, group, and family therapy using trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches.
    Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, social skills, and other relevant topics.
    Address crisis situations and provide de-escalation and stabilization support as needed.

    3. Collaboration and Case Coordination
    Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and staffings.
    Coordinate care with residential staff, case managers, medical providers, and external stakeholders.
    Communicate regularly with families and guardians to support treatment goals and family engagement.

    4. Documentation and Compliance
    Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency, DCFS, and
    Medicaid standards. Complete progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and discharge summaries within required timeframes.
    Ensure compliance with all confidentiality, licensing, and ethical standards.

    5. Professional Development and Supervision
    Participate in clinical supervision, training, and continuing education to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.
    Stay current with best practices in trauma-informed care, adolescent development, and therapeutic interventions.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
    Licensed or license-eligible in the State of Illinois (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC).
    Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing therapy to youth and families, preferably in a residential or child welfare setting.
    Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, adolescent development, and behavioral health.
    Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
    CPR and CPI certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

    SCHEDULE AND AVAILABILITY:
    Full-time / Part-time position with flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as
