    Job Summary:

    Burial Technicians are responsible for carefully and efficiently burying service drop cables for our residential and commercial customers as well as teaming with i3 Broadband construction and maintenance crews on other miscellaneous projects on the underground fiber optics network.

    Duties/Responsibilities:Bury fiber optic cable lines 6" to 24" deep using hand trenching or drop plows with boring capabilities. Read and understand existing underground facility location information. Identify and locate unmarked utilities.Actively identify and eliminate risk of injury or damage.Restore job site, including landscaping to the original condition.Review all requested and existing services with the customer before installation of new lines.Communicate in a thorough and professional manner with homeowners, customers, and other contractors regarding cable burials, restoration, and light landscaping. Work closely with drop burial crew leader to establish and maintain efficient daily and weekly production of cable burials.Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to work well with others as part of a team.Must be computer proficient.Positive, can-do attitude. Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality results. Possess good time management skills.Must enjoy working outside. Willing to train, accept feedback, and learn the job according to i3 standards.Must be available to work occasional overtime and some weekends (as needed).Other duties as assigned.Must have a valid driver's license.Education/Experience:No prior experience is necessary, however any demonstrated interest or aptitude for hands-on work, physical work, or working with cable or electrical components is preferred. Landscaping experience is also highly preferred. Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a criminal background check.Physical Requirements: Must be able to work outdoors, and in all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.

    Installation and Support Technicians are critical to deliver on i3's promise of the world's most advanced internet, television, and voice services with the industry's best customer service. Installation & Support Technicians focus primarily on new installations of our cable television and broadband services. Technicians represent i3 every day to our customers, often in the customer’s home, performing a variety of duties including installation, changes of service, additional outlet installation, disconnection of service, payment collection, and any special requests customers may have regarding installation or use of services.

    Duties/Responsibilities:Makes customer drop installations (exterior and interior) complete from tap to antenna terminals on customer equipment in customer dwellings. Performs new connects, reconnects, requested and non-pay disconnects; adds outlets; installs and/or removes converters; performs upgrades and downgrades of service. Analyzes picture quality and judges acceptability of picture delivered following installation of cable service. Uses connectors, fasteners, and wire, and uses customary CATV hand and power tools in performance of job duties. Reads signal levels through use of field strength meter; adds and subtracts levels in installation problems; installs connectors on different types of drop cable; maintains proper clearances; installs tap-off devices. Properly uses, stores and maintains a VOM or DMM to check for "open" or "short" on line as well as AC and DC voltages. Reads general drop system layouts from blueprints. Inform customers of FCC Rules and company policies. Completes appropriate paperwork / system logs as required. Performs vehicle upkeep and maintenance to keep company vehicles clean, fueled and in good working order; reports problems promptly. Performs clean-up or salvage of wrecked materials.Generate additional company revenue through effective sales techniques and by offering information about product options, sales campaigns and promotions. Provides assistance to other team members or performs other duties as directed.

They get customers excited about the benefits of switching from their current provider to a 100% Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) connection through i3 Broadband.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sell Fiber Broadband Services (internet, Wi-Fi, and phone) to residential customers in assigned serviceable areas.Travel to different neighborhoods and communities, going door-to-door to prospect and close sales.Effectively describe and demonstrate i3 Broadband’s products and services, matching customers with the customized plans that best suit their needs and lifestyle.Work independently, with expectations of 6 hours of field time per day, including 4 hours of "Prime Time" (4 PM - 8 PM), 1 hour for planning your day, and 1 hour for breaks.Meet company-established sales goals, prospecting, closing standards, bundling objectives, and other performance targets.Follow up with prospects and customers who are ready to purchase i3 services, ensuring satisfaction and timely service delivery.Build constructive and cooperative relationships with your team and community.Engage positively with every individual in your interactions, leaving a lasting impression of professionalism.Complete required sales forms, documentation, and reports in a timely and accurate manner.Participate in ongoing training, sales meetings, and trade shows.Perform other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications:

    Education and Experience:

    Previous experience in a customer service or sales role is required. Experience in door-to-door sales is a plus.A valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record are required.Successful candidates will undergo a criminal background check and motor vehicle records check.Use of a reliable vehicle is mandatory.

    Skills and Competencies:
