Summary
The Facilities/Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility infrastructure, equipment, and building systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of facility equipment, building systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and potential issues
Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance and repair activities for facility infrastructure and production-related equipment
Support the maintenance of building systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems
Work with department personnel and external service providers to address facility requirements and maintenance projects
Ensure maintenance tasks are completed according to established schedules, quality standards, and budget considerations
Monitor equipment performance and communicate maintenance concerns or recommendations to management
Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and operational requirements
Participate in workplace safety initiatives and support implementation of safe work practices
Maintain organized maintenance records and documentation as required
Qualifications
Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
Two or more years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, manufacturing support, or a related field
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, contractors, and vendors
Familiarity with automated equipment, control systems, or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) preferred
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and sitting throughout the workday
Ability to lift, carry, push, or move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
Regular exposure to industrial equipment, machinery, and mechanical systems
Ability to read technical documents, operate equipment, and use computer systems for documentation and communication
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
