    Role Overview

    This is a great fit for someone who wants to build an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), warehouse and inventory system at a manufacturing company. We are looking for someone who can “bring into reality” a new ERP/WMS system. The plan has already begun and is underway, and it requires to be carried through with execution. If you’ve implemented a manufacturing ERP system before, you’re what we are looking for.

     

    The ERP Administrator will oversee a key operational function of our business. We are migrating from a WMS system (Fishbowl) to an ERP System (Netsuite) – we are in Phase 1 of that process. The initial 3 months of this role will be to lead in our Phase 1 plans. The following nine (9) months, and into the future, the role will improve the ERP functionality and warehouse / inventory processes in a Phase 2 and beyond. This is a “constant improvement” role that will require thought leadership as well as daily, weekly, and monthly operational leadership of a Team of 4-6 direct reports. The role will require a highly organized and analytical person, with the ability to bring vision and conceptual ideas into real world operational working systems. To be successful in the job role the ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of Netsuite and ERP systems, together with warehouse and inventory management. Previous implementation of Netsuite is a huge plus for any candidate.

    Work schedule- This is an exempt position with a Monday to Friday work schedule. The workday is from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break.

    General Responsibilities

    Day to day managing ERP system of PO’s, receiving, warehouse, inventory, parts dispatch, et cetera.Manage warehouse employees to efficiently deploy all parts and complete pick lists on a timely basis.Experience working with EDI data and/or implementing and ERP system.Analytical – strong analytical skills, mostly quantitative, including database manipulation.Heavily involved in the Phase 1 plan of company.Create an organized and analytical WMS environment where KPI’s and important information is accurate and distributed appropriately.Maintain an organized and logical warehouse working environment; keeping everything labeled and making sure resources and information needed by the warehouse staff is readily available.Implement new guidelines and procedures as needed to help with the flow of both parts and information.Develop employees and Team to learn more, know more and do more (training, development, and coaching).Certified Netsuite Administrator is a huge plus. Plan on obtaining certification within 1 year of starting.

    The Big Eight

    1. From day 1 and working as a Team member (Team of 6) start taking the lead on the implementation of Netsuite as an ERP system. We are migrating from Fishbowl as a WMS to Netsuite as an ERP system. While working on the above, manage all processes to the agreed plan to make for a seamless migration process.

    2. Directly oversee Project Team Members and third party implementors.

    3. Management of project management practices such as planning, organizing, identifying key milestones, communication, deep analysis of KPI’s (key performance indicators) et cetera.

    4. Warehouse management with 2 direct reports in that capacity; improve existing functional warehouse system to the next levels in unison with the improvement of the processes and growth into an ERP system.

    5. Implement new procedures and help write and author guidelines for all roles associated with ERP system.

    6. Identify obsolete parts in the warehouse, organize the transferring to a separate building, and implement a similar inventory slotting plan there.

    7. Effective management of the electronic information and organizational structure within Netsuite while working on the physical inventory projects.

    8. Adhere to a “continuous improvement” culture and mentality to drive the team to constant warehouse improvement, inventory, and the information in the ERP System.

    Objectives Overview

    Successful management of a small team of 4 to 6 direct reports.Institute organization and effective processes for entire team as per company’s Phase 1 plan. Phase 1 plan is to reorganize warehouse, identify a location for all parts (slotting), label all locations and parts, update WMS with location information, restructure Receiving and Picking of parts, and implement all the above into Netsuite to prepare for a December “Go Live” date of the Netsuite ERP System.Manage all systems to generate reporting, information, and analysis to assist the leaders with the decision-making process, provide supporter business operations to know vital information, and direct users to have clear and organized job remit.Phase 1 Warehouse and Inventory system 85% date to be implemented quickly upon hire (including Netsuite migration).Phase 1 Warehouse and Inventory system 95% implemented by designated deadline (including Netsuite migration).“Go Live” date of ERP System testing on December 1, 2023.Through leadership and management create a culture of constant improvement by engaging the Team and company to focus on systems and processes improvements. Teach all pertinent personnel the benefits of managing an effective ERP system.Take lead on labeling all parts and items/everything; e.g isles, bays, rows, columns, all parts, all picking bins and cages, receiving area, picking area, et cetera.Maintain warehouse staff organized, e.g., paperwork, to do tasks, completed tasks, packing slips, parts labels, parts maps, et cetera.

    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years' work experience, or equivalent training / coursework.Must have demonstrated NetSuite Systems experience (NetSuite certification a plus).Computer Skills: workflow design, implementation, and improvement, form design and support, custom record design and maintenance, saved report creation and sharing, integration implementation and monitoring, data upload, Day- to-day admin support, working understanding of relational databases, et cetera.Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is required.

    Role Overview

    We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Assurance Technician (Preship Technician). This role is based on the final phase of the facility. The final phase is responsible for taking the Work Off List from our quality manager reports and doing the final work and completion of each custom build. This will include alignment, drive train issues, and cosmetics finishes. The role requires someone with a broad range of automotive skills and a keen eye for detail. The aim in the final phase is to verify all completed work is up to quality assurance standards (including repairs for both lines- trucks and cars), move the vehicles forward to shipping ensuring they are safe and functional.

    Work schedule- Monday through Friday, from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (30-minute lunch break).

    General Responsibilities

    Receiving vehicle from production and conducting a full Phase 6 inspection (consisting of 594 lines).Full Work Off of all quality control issues that are raised in the report.Running all operational and cosmetic issues to ensure the vehicle is safe, functional, and built to our quality standards.Quality check of all completed work and test miles driven during phase.Tuning and performance enhancements.Keeping an accurate log/record of all work performed.Maintaining and cleaning garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.Adhering to the company's work safety policies.Quality control throughout the vehicle build process.Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

    Education and Experience

    Demonstrated experience inspecting vehicles for faults and repairs.Practical knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment.Ability to complete and use reports.Experience conducting routine services and vehicle maintenance.Excellent team communication skills and ability to adapt to work environment.Sound problem-solving skills.Race / Custom experience would be an advantage.Completion of ASE is an advantage.
