    Requirements:

    Provide unskilled personal care services and homemaking services to the company's patients.Attends to any unskilled personal care services that the consumer requires using the Rules and Regulations document provided by the Company.Accompany or drive patients to physician/clinicsProvide assistance or stand by assistance with bathing, skin care, hair care, toileting, dressing, shaving, nail care, mouth care, etc.Perform housekeeping tasks as directedMake bed, change and launder linensWash dishes, prepare meals and grocery shopClean stove, kitchen, bathroom, and only the consumers living area and bedroomVacuum, sweep, dust, take out trash, run errands as needed, mop floors (make sure floor is dry before leaving)Advises staffing director of requests which cannot be met or of conditions which are unsafeIs dependable to consumers and Company in both providing and documenting services on time sheetsAdditional responsibilities may be added as appropriate

    Qualifications:

    Minimum High School Diploma or GED.Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and other documents.Requires personal transportation, valid state issued driver's license, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law.Some experience working with elderly and frail but will train.Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Salary: $18.00 -$19.29 per hour

    Experience: Home Care 1 year (Preferred)

    Work Location: In person

    Position Summary:
    The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for our clients. The role involves coordinating group activities, one-on-one engagements, and special events designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals receiving home healthcare. The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, and skilled at building relationships with clients to encourage participation in meaningful and enjoyable activities.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Activity Planning: Design and implement a range of activities that cater to the individual needs and preferences of clients, such as arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, music therapy, and social events.Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients to understand their interests and abilities, tailoring activities to ensure meaningful engagement and participation.Event Coordination: Organize special events, celebrations, and outings that promote social interaction and provide opportunities for clients to connect with others in the community.Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and families to integrate activities into client care plans and ensure a holistic approach to their well-being.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client participation and feedback, evaluating the effectiveness of activities and making adjustments as necessary.Safety and Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner, adhering to agency policies and procedures, as well as any relevant healthcare regulations.Resource Management: Manage the budget for activities, procuring supplies and coordinating logistics for events and programs.Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with activity programs, ensuring they are supported and prepared for their roles.Innovative Program Development: Continuously develop new ideas for activities that engage clients, focusing on improving their quality of life through creativity, socialization, and physical activity.
    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy, Social Work, or a related field (preferred).2+ years of experience in activity coordination or recreational therapy, ideally within a healthcare or eldercare setting.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Creative, energetic, and empathetic approach to client engagement.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and events simultaneously.CPR and First Aid certification preferred.Experience working with individuals with physical or cognitive limitations is a plus.
