  Job Title: Medical Receptionist or Optometric Technician
  Location: Huffman Family Eye Care (www.huffmaneye.com)
  Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday. No weekends.

  Overview:
  We are hiring for one of two key roles in our optometry practice: Front Desk Coordinator or Optometric Technician. Candidates will be considered for the position that best fits their experience and strengths. This is a fast-paced, patient-focused office where efficiency, attention to detail, and strong people skills matter. Willing to train.

  Position 1: Medical Receptionist

  Responsibilities:

  Greet and check in patientsSchedule appointments and manage daily flowVerify insurance and collect copaysAnswer phones and handle patient inquiriesKeep the front office organized and running efficiently

  Position 2: Optometric Technician

  Responsibilities:

  Perform pre-testing (visual acuity, autorefractor, tonometry, imaging)Prepare patients for the doctor and document in EHRAssist during exams as neededEducate patients on treatment plans and productsMaintain exam rooms and equipment

  What We’re Looking For:

  Strong communication and people skillsAbility to multitask and stay organized under pressureDependable, detail-oriented, and proactiveHealthcare or optometry experience preferred, but willing to train the right personComfortable working in a busy environment where you’re on your feet and engaged throughout the day
