    A Day In The Life


    Applies masking tape and caps to protect parts and components that are not coated.
    Wet coats surface of manufactured products with epoxy and urethane coatings.
    Adjust valves on spray gun to regulate width and pressure of spray.
    Pull trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat.
    Thoroughly cleans and maintains all spray equipment including booth maintenance.
    Make suggestions to supervisors for improvements associated with assigned work.
    Follow instructions, both written and verbal, from the lead person and production supervisors.
    Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
    Inspect own work for conformity to standards.
    Assist in other areas, as necessary.
    Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
    Overtime, including weekends, as needed could be mandatory.
    Must wear all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required for the specific work area
    Forklift certified for moving paint drums and other responsibilities as needed.
    Other duties as assigned such as cross-training with powder and wet coating operations.



    What will help you thrive in this role?


    High school education or General Education Diploma (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and the multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
    Demonstrate a positive attitude toward his/her work including striving for maximum production and quality of product.
    Possess self-motivated initiative to improve quantity, quality, and maximum efficiency with all co-workers.
    Ability to use the tools required (gages, guns, and pumps).
    Ability to be Forklift certified.

Produce accurate Mold Tooling and repair as needed. Produce accurate production parts. Assist with various production activities as directed by supervisor or lead in order to aid in overall productivity. Verify accuracy and quality of parts produced. Identify and help resolve issues impacting safety, productivity or quality. Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. Material handling as needed. Technical College or Equivalent Experience 3+ years experience operating and programming CNC mills and manual milling equipment Required: Ability to write programs in G-Code Required: ability to input drawings into MasterCam, converting them into a CNC code, then fine tuning the program to run properly. Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and product specifications. Ability to use gages and measuring instruments such as micrometer calipers, etc. Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel within operation. Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects. Ability to perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
