    Position Summary

    The Warehouse Associate II role is a functional role responsible for performing all required functions needed to pick, pack, and/or palletize an order, assemble, ship, and/or receive Customer product while ensuring proper and accurate documentation. This position also may possess the responsibility, based on experience, to conduct training with new and/or less experienced personnel.

    Duties

    The below listed duties are reflective of all HuFriedyGroup Distribution/Warehouse locations, thus local skill requirements and essential duties may vary:

    Performs all Distribution/Warehouse functions as outlined in established procedures. Select, check, pack and/or palletize, and label all types of standard orders for shipment Perform highly repetitive packaging, assembly, and/or machine operation Receives Customer product through acceptance or unloading shipping container, including pallet breakdown and identifying box weights; processes all applicable documentation in an accurate manner. Coordinates staging of incoming Customer product by transferring or overseeing the transfer of product to the non-process storage locations in a safe and damage-free manner. Inspects finished goods as they move from packaging to assembly, as well as inspect incoming or outgoing Customer product for damages and/or count discrepancies and report such conditions as outlined in established procedures. Maintains and submits warehouse reports depicting where products are staged within the facility. Verifies that all identified damages and/or count discrepancies have been reported and resolved. Ensures shipment of product within shipping deadline by maintaining contact with internal facility staff. Prepares product for shipment by retrieving Customer product from processed area and staging in shipping area; prepares accurate shipping documentation; loads product into shipping trailers/containers or transfers small packages to delivery service. Ensures timely receipt or shipment of Customer product by assisting material handling activities, loading, and unloading trucks. Ensures quality conformance against bills of material as well as visual controlled images. Actively participates and supports Lean and Safety initiatives, as well as daily cycle count programs and other directives, when required. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Operate forklift and/or other material handling equipment, as needed Meet department productivity and quality goals. Contributes to a team effort by performing in accordance with all STERIS/HuFriedyGroup policies, GMP, Lean principles and other directives; supports the directives and decisions of higher-level management and performs other duties as assigned, to ensure team continuity across all warehouse operations.

    Responsibilities:

    As the Production Control Clerk, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

    Position Summary

    The Machine Operator role, with moderate assistance and oversight from team leadership, has overall responsibility for setting up, adjusting, and operating a variety of production machinery to produce high-quality finished products.

    DutiesSafety – Responsible for understanding and complying with all company and department-related safety practices including wearing required PPE, following machine safety protocols, and safely lifting a maximum of 30 lbs. Must be willing to immediately notify site leadership of unsafe conditions.Quality – Must be able to understand and adhere to all documented procedures and quality practices. Responsible for self-monitoring the quality of your own work and notifying department leadership if quality practices cannot be met or maintained. Must adhere to defined Good Documentation Practices (GDP)Delivery – Ability to work flexible hours including overtime to ensure customer commitments are met.Cost – Responsible for meeting established labor and machine standards.Technical – Must be able to read as well as apply instructions and specifications from a variety of sources including: Work Instructions, Drawings, Machine Manuals, and Inspection Checklists while manufacturing product. Continuous Improvement – Responsible for maintaining 6S practices at their workstation. Contribute ideas for making work Safer, Easier, Better, and Faster.

    Under limited supervision, The Assembler I, assembles medical devices consisting of assemblies and subassemblies containing plastic and machined components using various handheld and power equipment to blueprint specifications. Performs leak testing and troubleshooting of assembly’s and subassemblies.

    Duties:

    Perform visual inspection of raw materials and or production assemblies, to meet quality standards.Utilize blueprints to set-up each build in accordance to work orders.Perform assembly of components that consist of machined and purchased parts.Perform leak and assembly test per work instructions. Perform trouble shooting when assemblies don’t pass testing. Communicate with engineering when necessary. Verify assembly is in compliance with quality standards prior to submitting to quality assurance.Comply with all FDA and ISO9001, and ISO 13485 guidelines. Maintain clean, safe, organized work area - sustains process improvements that have been implemented into their respective areas. Actively participate in Continuous Improvement (examples: line side ideas, kaizens, and projects) Execute Engineering Work Requests and special sample requests. Perform other duties as assigned. 

    Experience:

    Perform assembly and subassemblies.Read and interpret blueprints, tubing diagrams.Utilize hand and power tools to perform assembliesAttention to detail and ability interpret and follow written instructions. Good communication skills (written and verbal) when working with others. Knowledge of all FDA and ISO9001, and ISO 13485 guidelines1 year manufacturing experience, preferredMust be able to lift 30 lbs. maximumMust have the dexterity to efficiently work with small parts.Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of timeMust be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, pull, push and engage in repetitive physical movement
