    A candidate with a four-year accredited B.S. degree in Civil, Mechanical or other related engineering discipline.A candidate with two plus years of relevant progressive experience related to water and wastewater infrastructure.Possess strong verbal and technical writing skills and able to read/interpret technical literature, and engineering plans and specifications.Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills through applied engineering principles.A candidate with proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) and Revu Bluebeam.A candidate with knowledge and familiarity in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, REVIT, and Civil3D is preferred.Team approach to work production and delivery.Strong customer service attitude and a passion to meet Client’s needs.

    We are hiring a CAD Technician to join our Land Development team in Houston, TX! The Technician will support engineers and designers on projects of increasing complexity while completing detailed drawings in a collaborative environment using computer-aided design programs with a focus on Commercial and Residential Land Development projects.     Minimum Qualifications:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct thorough QA/QC checks on engineering and technical tasks completed by team members.Make significant design decisions tailored to the specific needs of our external customers.Proactively identify and address technical, schedule, or financial issues that may arise during project execution.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution from conception to completion.Help coordinate the efforts of EITs, junior engineers, and design technicians.Participate in creating engineering services proposals, including estimating time schedules and costs of the proposed work.Sign and seal engineering documents as an authorized representative of the company.Independently communicate on technical matters with clients.

    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's or master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one in Missouri.Six or more years of structural design/engineering experience with the ability to sign engineering documents.Strong technical verbal and technical writing skills with the ability to read technical literature and engineering plans.Advanced proficiency with bridge design software such as LEAP Enterprise (Conspan & RC Pier), STAAD, MDX, and MIDAS.Proficiency in operating technical analysis equipment and computer systems.Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply professional knowledge to both routine and non-routine tasks and engineering activities.
