Cost Accountant / Operations Analyst

$110,000 – $135,000 base salary (DOE)

What You'll Do
Be the go-to finance partner for operations, analyzing labor, overhead, material usage, scrap, absorption, and PPV
Turn production data into insight by forecasting volume, earned hours, production variances, and overhead costs
Own monthly inventory analysis including inventory reserves and warranty reserves
Lead the annual standard cost roll-up, working cross-functionally to ensure accuracy in the ERP system
Review and validate BOMs and routings before new products go live — your work directly impacts margins
Prepare and manage transfer pricing across multiple legal entities
Drive inventory revaluation and standard cost updates annually
Take the lead in internal and external operational audits, ensuring IFRS compliance
Run key parts of the month-end close including journal entries and account analysis
Coordinate physical inventory and cycle counts, investigate variances, and improve controls
What Makes You a Great Fit
Must-Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2–3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect numbers to real-world processes
Advanced Excel skills and experience working in an ERP environment (SAP strongly preferred)
Clear communicator who can partner with non-finance teams
Nice-to-Have (But Not Required)
MBA, CMA, or CFA
Experience in multi-entity or global operations
Exposure to IFRS, audits, and standard costing environments
