    Summary:
    The Resident Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one to one intervention, small group facilitation and large group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and value of approaches in medical record.

    Essential Functions:

    Assists the resident activity director as needed.
    Utilizes the environment to provide both comfort and stimulation to the resident population.Fosters a sense of community within the center environment.Leads and participates in individual and group activities.Utilizes a variety of models to achieve individualized programming, such a pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, etc.Assists with decorating the facility and preparing for special events and seasonal parties.Develops and posts monthly calendar as a planning resource for residents and families.Participates in recreational programs for residents confined to their rooms.Promotes volunteer efforts in the community.Maintains records of activities and attendance.Stores activity equipment and supplies and cleans area after conclusion of the activity.Utilizes the biopsychosocial model to support resident well-being.Provides or arranges for comfort/support to residents and families when needed.Performs other tasks as assigned.

    Summary:The Respiratory Therapist, under the direction of management, is responsible for providing clinical direction and in-services regarding patient care and other respiratory related issues to the facility.Qualifications: Education: A CRT or RRT license and a graduate of an AMA approved school for respiratory care.

    Licenses/Certification:

    Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the state employed.Valid CPR certification.Vent Certified, preferred.

    Experience:

    One year of respiratory therapy experience preferred in a long-term care setting.Job Functions:Provides respiratory related services for established times or services within the Respiratory Care Practitioner scope of services. This may include testing the patient for qualifying clinical needs, gathering information, completing and/or submitting the information to the facility.Records all pertinent information on respiratory care records and patient charts. This includes consults, recommendations, and pertinent conversations with physicians, staff, patient, patient family members or other caregivers.Assists facility in regulatory issues, ensuring that respiratory equipment and supplies are stored in appropriate storage area, and appropriate signs and documentation are provided within the facility.Takes care of routine mail, phone calls and pages, as necessary. Also completes necessary filing and faxing.Communicates with facility staff regarding relevant clinical and operational issues regarding the program and patient care issues.Assess for patient’s respiratory needs. Assess oxygen saturation and use of pulse ox. Be able to assess ventilator patients and work with ventilator.Complete treatment and ventilator check in a timely fashion. Notifies supervisor of any facility concerns or needs.Completes TARs at the end of each month checking for accurate information.The ability to assess for decannulation and weaning.May participate in a wide variety of special projects.Resolves routine problems and communicates solution to appropriate personnel. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Ability to work independently in a consulting capacity.Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team. Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.Ability to organize a schedule and work to meet facility needs.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Excellent organizational skills.     Starting Wages at $23.40-$33.30 per hour Wage Calculation is based on experience, shift, a $3.40/hr Michigan Direct Care Incentive, and a $3/hr weekend warrior program.Flexible Pay Options: Get paid daily, weekly, or bi-weekly through UKG Wallet.

    Summary:
    The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) under supervision, provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities. Qualifications:Education:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Licenses/Certification: Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.Experience:Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred. Job Functions:Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.,Assists resident with ambulation for short distance in facility.Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.Performs other tasks as assigned.
