    One-Year Advanced Training Program

    Program Overview

    This one-year fellowship offers concentrated training in orthognathic surgery with broad exposure to the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Based in the Texas Medical Center, fellows train in a high-volume practice with three full-time faculty and care for both adult and pediatric patients.

    Key Training Areas

    • Orthognathic surgery with 3D virtual planning
    • TMJ, aesthetic, pathology & reconstruction
    • Pediatric oral/maxillofacial surgery
    • Facial trauma, dentoalveolar & implants

    Clinical & Academic Experience

    Fellows participate in surgery, multidisciplinary care, research, teaching, and national presentations, with access to the Houston Methodist Research Institute.

    Eligibility

    • OMFS residency completion
    • Board-eligible/certified
    • Texas dental license

    Neuromuscular Disease/EMG Physician Opportunity - Houston Methodist - Texas Medical Center

    Houston Methodist Hospital, a nationally recognized leader in clinical care and research, is seeking a fellowship-trained Neuromuscular Specialist to join our expanding Department of Neurology. This position is based at our flagship hospital in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center.

    The Houston Methodist Neurology department has a large Neuromuscular Division with eight neuromuscular specialists and an accredited neuromuscular and clinical neurophysiology fellowship program. The division runs multiple ongoing clinical trials and basic science studies funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH). Our interdisciplinary clinics, such as the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis clinic, myotonic dystrophy clinic, and Charcot-Marie-Tooth clinic, have gained national and international recognition. In addition, Houston Methodist Research Institute (HMRI) provides various research cores, cutting-edge human imaging centers, and web-bench laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art instruments. This environment enables the high quality of scientific studies conducted in neuromuscular diseases.

    Qualified Candidates:

    Completed Neurology Residency

    Fellowship in neuromuscular diseases/EMG

    Eligible for Texas Medical License

    Academic interest in clinical care, education and/or research
