At Hose Team, no two days are the same. You won't be stuck in a shop staring at the same four walls. Instead, you’ll operate out of a state-of-the-art, fully customized, and stocked Hose Team service van, bringing crucial solutions directly to our customers. The Role
As a Field Hydraulic Technician, you will be the face of Hose Team on the ground in Cincinnati. You will diagnose, fabricate, and replace hydraulic hoses and fittings on-site for various heavy machinery and industrial equipment. This is a highly autonomous role perfect for an experienced mechanic who thrives on variety, takes pride in exceptional customer service, and has an entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Responsibilities
On-Site Repair & Fabrication: Safely assemble, repair, and install high-pressure hydraulic hoses and fittings on-site out of your mobile workshop.Rapid Response: Perform scheduled and emergency service calls across the local Cincinnati market.Customer Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to our existing customer base and actively develop relationships with new clients to help grow the territory.On-Call Availability: Participate in a rotating schedule to respond to after-hours emergency repair requests.Safety First: Adhere strictly to company and client safety policies and procedures at all times.What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with hydraulics (Required).Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with a background in fluid power, heavy equipment repair, or industrial maintenance.Bonus Points for: Experience with tube bending, silver soldering, cylinder rebuilding, or pump rebuilding.Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate the company vehicle.Attributes: * Honest, friendly, and dedicated to providing world-class customer service.Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage your time effectively on the road.Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.Must be drug-free (testing may be required).Why You’ll Love Working With Us
