The Field Engineer supports telecommunications projects by performing essential hands-on tasks such as equipment installation, system testing, and maintenance. This role requires frequent daily travel to client sites, working mostly independently or in small teams to ensure systems operate optimally. Strong technical troubleshooting skills and effective client communication are key to successfully maintaining network infrastructure and deploying new technology.
Responsibilities
Install telecommunications equipment at client locationsConduct comprehensive system testing using appropriate tools and softwareProvide maintenance and preventive support to ensure system reliabilityTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently on-siteEngage with clients to maintain strong professional relationshipsWork independently or collaborate within small teams of 2-5 membersManage cabling and hardware configurations during installations and upgradesTravel daily to various client sites to support network installations and repairs
Required Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
