We are seeking an individual to join our growing transit team and fill a Senior Transit Designer or Project Manager position and help lead transit design efforts across the mountain west. We provide transit design services for a wide variety of clients, including state DOT’s, transit agencies, and cities both in Arizona and throughout the intermountain west. Our transit team is based out of Utah, and we are looking for the right candidate to help expand our reach in other regions where Horrocks does business.
    Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties: As a Senior Transit Designer or Project Manager you will work on a variety of projects including heavy rail, light rail, and bus rapid transit design, as well as station area layout and design of intermodal connections. The right candidate will:Have project management, design management, or lead design experience on transit-focused projectsLead design efforts from concept-level through ready-for-construction plans, specifications, and cost estimatesCoordinate meetings, action items, and other communications with a focus on resolving technical questions and issuesDevelop and review submittals for compliance with standards and design criteriaPrepare engineering-related calculations, reports, memos, drawings, and visual aidsAssist in maintaining project controls and documentationSupport client relations development and management
