    Kitchen Services Lead, Full-time

    Hopedale Medical Complex is searching for a skilled Kitchen Services Lead to oversee the dietary department during the evening shift from 10 am or 10:30 am to 7 pm, with rotating weekends. The Kitchen Services Lead is responsible for oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the department. Serves food to residents, visitors, and employees in a friendly, professional manner while providing outstanding customer service. The kitchen services lead will also supervise our evening kitchen staff and dinner service at night. The starting wage for this position is $17 per hour.

    Infants (6 weeks to 15 months) - $133 weekly, $27 daily

    2 years to 3 years - $119 weekly, $25 daily

    Responsibilities:

    Ensures all food taste and presentation are of the highest quality for all areas of service-hospital, nursing home, commons, and Café.

    Assist with the tray line, responsible for checking all trays.

    Run cash register in café.

    Acts as a backup to the Food Services Manager/Chef. Makes time for staff concerns, conflicts, and questions. Completes orders when required.

    Assists with the training and onboarding of new staff.

    Oversees completion of tasks within the main kitchen or in other buildings when needed.

    Responsible for monitoring all freezer and refrigerator documentation in the main kitchen.

    Assist with the development and review of dietary policies and procedures.

    Responsible for filing and storage of all dietary records, schedules, menus, etc.

    Responsible for monitoring all logs in the kitchen, such as three-well sanitation.

    Responsible for direct supervision of tray line, food quality, accuracy of production, and tray presentation.

    Assist with the development and/or implementation of food service in-service monthly.

    Assists with catering.

    Responsible for all cold station duties, including prep for next day supper, prep tray line items, and prep kitchen for next day

    Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards

    Other duties as assigned.



    Requires familiarity with kitchen equipment.

    Must be able to read and follow a recipe, unsupervised.

    Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.

    Working knowledge of food preparation.

    High school diploma (or equivalent) or current enrollment in secondary school.

    Ability to handle constructive criticism and accept feedback from residents regarding food concerns.

    Well-versed knowledge of all kitchen positions, tasks, and duties.

    High leadership skills.

    Basic math and computer skills.

    Works well independently, with little guidance.

    Ability to work with and serve various people is required, high-risk populations included.

    Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

    High levels of dependability and responsibility.

    Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday rotation.

    A ServeSafe license is preferred

    Physical Demands:

    Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

    Must be able to push/pull delivery carts.

    Ability to work in hot, hectic environments: stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods.

    About the Job:

    The Teacher's Assistant will assist lead teachers in a variety of functions, including observing, supervising and organizational duties, and optimizing the learning and play environment. The starting wage for this position is $16 per hour and the hours for the daycare are 5:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.


    Responsibilities:


    • Interact, initiate, and encourage the children in the activities during the day.

    • Help the children control behavior using a positive, appropriate approach; always to use a consistent technique.

    • Provide nurturance but help the children become independent.

    • Promote integral learning during mealtime; to help the children learn good social skills.

    • Maintain good communication with parents and to make each parent feel at ease at the Center.

    • Assist the teacher in planning activities for the group and to offer suggestions and information about the children.

    • Develop a cooperating and supportive attitude within the room.

    • Attend monthly staff meetings held by the Director of the Center.

    • Other duties as required.





    • High school diploma is required.

    About the Job:

    The registration and admissions specialist are a patient's first point of contact at the hospital. Must be able to handle the duties of both receptionist and medical secretary, signing in patients and dealing with their personal information. Registration and admissions specialists particularly need the skills to collect and organize information to keep the flow of patients running smoothly. This is a day shift position Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturday mornings 7am to noon and rotating holidays. The starting wage for this position is $16 per hour.




    Responsibilities:

    Greet all patients and answer all incoming phone calls, promoting quality customer service.

    Record patient demographic information, insurance, and billing information into the Trubridge computer system; research missing information and obtain signatures on required forms.

    Counsel patients and families regarding financial issues such as insurance.

    Provide information to the patient/representative about billing, complaint process, patient rights and visiting hours. Distribute hospital specific literature.

    Collect and record payments and/or forward information to the Patient Accounts Department personnel.

    Maintain orders sent to the hospital by referring offices.
