Position Summary The Lead Delivery Driver is responsible for overseeing daily delivery operations while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with company standards. This role combines hands-on delivery responsibilities with leadership duties, including training new drivers, supporting heavy routes, and acting as a liaison between delivery staff and management. Key Responsibilities Delivery Operations Safely transport and deliver beverages to customers. Load and unload products using hand trucks, dollies, or pallet jacks. Assist on high-volume or complex routes when needed. Customer Service Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Merchandising Stock shelves, coolers, and racks to maintain product visibility. Set up promotional displays in line with company standards. Inventory & Record Management Manage product returns and reconcile invoices. Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and DOT compliance documents. Vehicle Maintenance Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections. Report maintenance needs and keep vehicles clean and organized. Leadership & Training Train, mentor, and support new delivery drivers.
