Description As an Advanced Electrical Engineer here at Honeywell you will play a key role in leading the design and development of complex electrical systems and components. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Use advanced electronics knowledge and engineering discipline to complete engineering tasks Identify opportunities for repair cost reduction and manage projects from solution development through deployment! Expand avionics repair capability by developing and deploying new repair processes and lead the entry-into-service process for repair of newly developed products. Introduce new technology and find new applications of existing technology to improve repair shop business performance. Lead effort between avionics product design engineering test design engineering and service center staff to resolve issues with product modification upgrades investigations and repair of test equipment. Actively seek out and identify areas to standardize avionics repair and test procedures across sites for productivity improvements. Lead cross-functional teams through the Corrective Action Request (CAR) process and negotiate solutions to prevent defects from being introduced into product repair processes. Communicate directly with internal and external customers and suppliers about status on resolutions for problems such as repair delivery disruptions no-fault-found situations warranty review and first-year-in-service failures.
