Job Purpose Responsible for leading, developing and overseeing group/team that develops and maintains both proactive and reactive strategies for the Supply Chain Stability Department (SCS), including rotating PDCA on designated activity, setting the plan, tracking progress, and following up on gaps found. Assistant Manager is responsible for evaluating Production Planning/Capacity Management and Strategic Action Plans developed by the team to countermeasure negative delivery, production, inventory management, plant/equipment, sub-supplier management, packaging control and/or workforce trends within the supply base. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are required both within and outside the Business Unit. This role will include leading and participating in a broad scope of projects and understanding/navigating complex supplier data/situations. This will require strong collaboration internally, throughout the Purchasing and Supply Chain Center. We are responsible for the cross divisional gathering and formalization of vehicle level system requirements, allocating them down to individual units, creating software control specifications, verifying and validating integrated vehicle functions. You would work under the leadership and guidance of senior members in the group to build your knowledge and technical skills with some autonomy as you gain experience Key Accountabilities Support with identifying shortcomings in function specifications through market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and other research activities. Suggest solutions to improve the overall product to the customer from these activities. Verify integrated control system software function by completing standard requirement testing on simulation bench and in vehicle by proving grounds.
