Processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed.Responsible for patient call backs, scheduling physician referrals; specialist’s referrals and pharmacy issues; and patient’s education.Maintains examination rooms, sterilization of equipment and stocks necessary medical supplies.Performs duties to ensure good patient flow.Registration duties: explain to patients' accepted insurances and those out of network and knowledgeable of all pricing. Properly collect and record payments, complete registration screen in a timely manner.Travel to care centers within designated regionProtects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal informationCleans and stocks the site with other members of the teamTraining other team members.Additional job responsibilities may be assigned.Requirements
1-2 years previous experience working in a physician practice or clinic setting is preferred.Basic computer skills, including the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Ability to function independently without close supervision, and to consistently exercise discretion and the highest level of good clinical and other professional judgment.Ability to complete and maintain CPR certificationBenefits
