WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As an Insulation Tech Assistant, you will contribute directly to improving the energy efficiency and comfort of homes throughout Connecticut. Your day will involve installing fiber-glass batt insulation, blown-in cellulose, or blown-in fiber-glass insulation. You will also support air sealing initiatives, install weather stripping, and perform other home efficiency upgrades under the HES program. Each assignment will require problem-solving and sound judgment, whether you are working independently or alongside a team. The role entails carrying materials, ascending ladders, and working in confined areas such as attics and crawl spaces, occasionally in challenging temperature conditions. You will work Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Your evenings and weekends are free.
As a Plumber - Plumbing Technician, you will visit customers' homes to find and solve plumbing problems. Each day, you will check plumbing systems, figure out what is wrong, and fix or maintain them. You will use our flat-rate book to price jobs, give clear cost estimates, and take payments. Making sure customers are happy and want to call us again is important.
