    Real Estate and Mortgage Assistant

    Job Description:

    We are seeking an organized, highly professional Real Estate and Mortgage Administrative Assistant to support our Houston office operations and teams. You will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring seamless communication with clients, managing listing files, mortgage loan origination and processing and maintaining our CRM. The position requires a highly organized person who is capable of multitasking between roles and will be able to handle multiple priorities in a face paced work environment while remaining calm under pressure and consistently maintain a professional attitude and demeanor.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Schedule and conduct property viewings for prospective buyers.Attend on-site property inspections, appraisals, and final walkthroughs.Provide feedback to the lead listing agent and adjust search criteria as needed.Quickly learn and share deep knowledge of the local communities and school districts.Manage the entire transaction process from contract to close, ensuring all deadlines are met.Prepare and distribute listing materials, marketing flyers, and MLS updates.Act as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, and title companies.Maintain and update the agent’s database, schedule appointments, and coordinate open houses.Facilitate the completion of residential loan applications and collect all necessary financial documents.Review all loan packages for accuracy and report discrepancies to the Loan Officer.Act as the liaison between the client, managers, and underwriter to expedite the loan process.Track loan pipelines and proactively communicate status updates to all involved parties.System Input: Enter and update borrower information in Loan Origination Systems (LOS).Scheduling: Coordinate loan closings and schedule meetings between borrowers and loan officers.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    Experience: Previous experience in mortgage, banking, or real estate is required.Knowledge: Understanding of Conventional, FHA/VA, and Jumbo loan products and regulations.Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), date entry and mortgage software systems is required.Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in reviewing documents.

    Qualifications:

    A High School diploma or GED required; an associate degree in finance or business is a plus.Hold active Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) and MLO Licenses required to be able to handle complex real estate, mortgage and loan processes and tasks, providing specific information to clients and meeting local regulatory.Strong working knowledge and proficiency of HAR (Houston Association of Realtors), modern mortgage loan origination systems (LOS) and CRM software.Compliance requirements and deep understanding of FHA, VA, and conventional loan guidelines.Highly personable with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.2+ years of experience in the mortgage, banking, or real estate industry.

    Typical Work Environment:

    Professional office setting of a real estate and mortgage management firm.Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking between phone, in-person visitors, and computer work.Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and flexibility to work overtime and some Saturdays as needed.Company DescriptionWe’re a real estate and mortgage company that appeals to a wide client base.
