    PURPOSE/ GOALS:

    To serve and protect our community, clients and their guestsPrevent and deter criminal activityIdentify vulnerabilities and minimize loss to clients and their guestsProvide exceptional customer service to all those we serveHelp to maintain a safe and secure environmentRespond to emergencies and take appropriate actions to ensure the safety of everyone on the premises

    JOB OVERVIEW:

    Using the company vehicle, ensure multiple client sites are secured, free of trespassing, criminal activity, and disturbancesAccomplish specific assignments and patrol tours, by understanding and complying with detailed verbal and written instructionsComplete a comprehensive report for each job site outlining brief details of patrol stopPerform back up assistance as needed at another job siteExercise reasonable care and attention when handling organizational assets to prevent loss or damage

    REQUIREMENTS:

    High School Diploma / GEDAt least 21 years old at time of hireHave and maintain a Washington Driver’s LicenseMaintain quality performance, attendance, and a professional appearanceObtain and maintain your personal Liability InsuranceGood driving record; no serious infractions in the past 5 years, have had drivers license for minimum 3 yearsBackground checkDrug testing upon hireSecurity Guard ExperienceCustomer Service ExperienceUtilize personal smartphone to complete electronic processesComply with the confidentiality policy as it relates to the release or disclosure of organizational informationMaintain a current Guard Card

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Appropriately react to incidents and make decisions under stress/duress. Prepare clear, concise and complete documented reports as required by policy/procedure.Exercise reasonable care and attention when handling organizational assets to prevent loss or damage. May be called upon to physically stop a subject to prevent escape, prevent personal injury and loss of or damage to organizational or client resources and assets.Comply with the confidentiality policy as it relates to the release or disclosure of organizational information. Could be called upon to testify and provide statements for use in judicial and administrative proceedings as required.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)At least 18 years old at time of hireDrug freeCustomer Service experienceBe able to sit, stand and/or walk continuously during shift, lift up to 45lbs. Use reasonable and necessary force to detain individuals suspected of crimes.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    Proven high level of team member and customer service skillsAble to walk up and down multiple flights of stairsFamiliar with MS OfficeFamiliar with technology and software applicationsAbility to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
