Position Summary
We are seeking a Front Desk Customer Service Representative to be the welcoming face of our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will help ensure every visit is fun, enjoyable, and exceeds expectations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced, environment and thrives on providing exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Guest Service
Welcome guests with a warm, friendly attitude both in person and over the telephone.Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest enjoys an outstanding experience.Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns quickly and professionally, preferably before they become issues.Answer questions regarding bowling, pricing, leagues, group events, birthday parties, food and beverage offerings, arcade attractions, hours of operation, promotions, and facility amenities.Direct guests to the appropriate department when necessary.Promote the bowling center's programs, specials, and upcoming events.Model the company's core values while creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere.Invite guests to return and help build lasting customer relationships.Front Desk Operations
Assign bowling lanes and shoe rentals efficiently while considering league play, reserved events, and lane maintenance.Book reservations and assist guests with event inquiries when the Sales Office is unavailable.Accurately process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and cash register.Ring sales accurately and provide correct change.Maintain an organized, clean, and professional front desk area.Communication & Administration
Document guest concerns and maintenance issues on appropriate logs.Notify the Manager on Duty or Maintenance Team of recurring equipment or lane issues.Communicate important information to incoming team members during shift changes.Demonstrate accountability, reliability, and attention to detail in all responsibilities.Attend team meetings and training sessions as scheduled.Qualifications
Outstanding customer service skills with a genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences.Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a fun, family entertainment environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Basic computer proficiency and point-of-sale (POS) experience preferred.Cash handling and basic math skills.Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.Ability to follow policies, procedures, and management direction.High school diploma or GED.Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks.Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, restaurants, entertainment, or family entertainment centers is preferred but not required.Experience handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable interacting with guests of all ages.Why Join Our Team?
