    Description:
    ABOUT THE ROLE
    The Terminal Manager's primary objective is to manage the marine unloading, truck loading, and distribution/storage activities for the assigned terminal(s). The Manager will oversee facility optimization while maintaining the high standards of safety, quality and customer service at facility and operating within environmental regulations consistent with the business strategy and objectives of Holcim.

    WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHCreate and manage Terminal budgets to cost and volume expectations.Manage development plans for terminal employees.Manage Contractor control provisions.Supervise, train, coach and evaluate supply point personnel following the Point of Supply Standards Manual and training manual procedures and guidelines.Supervise the receiving and unloading of trucks, railcars and/or marine vessels and the loading of cement trucks while maintaining accurate records for inventory.Devise and implement the periodic and preventative maintenance programs for all equipment. Maintain and update maintenance logs and record all maintenance on supply point equipment and machinery.Transmit appropriate daily cement inventory information to the sales and corporate offices as required, as well as other information pertaining to daily business. SAP experience would be a plus.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Working with the Market Commercial Manager, the Area Sales Manager is responsible for developing the market sales strategy and leading, managing, and developing a team of territory sales managers to execute the strategy for the assigned geography. This role will have a sales territory as well as sales management responsibility for additional territories.     JOB DESCRIPTION: Holcim (US) Inc. seeks a Maintenance Manager II in Paulding, OH to lead the maintenance department (electrical, mechanical, and preventive) as per Holcim's organizational standards. The individual will develop and lead plant projects that will ultimately increase efficiency, reduce CO2 emissions, and lower freshwater usage. Key projects include: replacing a multi-section of kilns; maintaining and improving the plant dedusting systems and Ammonia system to reduce the CO2 and dust emissions; replacing the kilns secondary drive mechanical components; repairing the kiln drive girth gear and the concrete pier supporting tier roller system; replacing the raw mill shell. The job entails providing leadership and technical expertise in the mechanical, reliability, electrical and instrumentation maintenance departments, as well as engineering, projects, and plant services to achieve the plant key performance indicators (KPI's) and market demand. The individual will demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas, as well as instilling safety culture in the workforce. S/he will play an integral role with respect to maximizing plant performance, ensuring coordination and cooperation with other departments. Finally, s/he will maximize sustainability efforts, work to minimize CO2 emissions, and reduce freshwater usage. This position includes domestic/national travel of up to 10% of the time.

    REQUIREMENTS: The position of Maintenance Manager II requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field plus 10 years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as a Maintenance Engineer, or in a related heavy industry position.

    Additionally, the position requires the following number of years of professional experience with each of the following:
    5 years: Management in the cement industry or a related heavy industrial facility, including overseeing direct reports, project planning, and ultimate responsibility for achieving team objectives5 years: Performing mechanical engineering duties in cement plants3 years: Electrical high and low voltage systems5 years: Applying welding procedures and metallurgy

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for all electrical maintenance activities at the plant. They will ensure electrical project work is completed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner and in compliance with environmental requirements and to work cooperatively to plan, schedule, and execute all control system activities in the plant in order to maximize equipment utilization and reliability.

    The Electrical Engineer will also be a part of the Holcim US Build4Growth Program. This is an extensive, 16-month cement manufacturing learning and development program designed to provide new graduate engineers with foundational knowledge and experience on the main operational areas of our cement plants. This program is built on a blended learning approach including online learning, face-to-face sessions, on-the-job assignments, and projects.

    WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHDemonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.Promote safety with all other employees and outside contractors.Promote electrical safety and safe work practices in the workplace with subordinates.Responsible for supervising the electrical and instrumentation technicians in the execution of daily work orders and projects assigned by the maintenance coordinator.     The Electrical Engineer will provide support the maintenance, reliability and operation of all plant electrical power systems, process control instruments and process control systems.
