Director of Strategic Partnerships & Funding
Position Summary:
The Director of Strategic Partnerships & Funding is a senior-level executive responsible for leading and executing the organization’s fundraising strategy, with a focus on securing capital during investment rounds and building long-term strategic alliances. This role combines high-level relationship-building with financial acumen to attract investors, cultivate corporate and institutional partnerships, and ensure the company has the resources to achieve its growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all fundraising efforts, particularly during equity or debt investment rounds, working closely with senior leadership to develop compelling pitches and investment materials.
Identify, pursue, and secure strategic partnerships and funding opportunities aligned with the company’s mission and growth strategy.
Build and maintain relationships with investors, venture capitalists, private equity firms, donors, and strategic corporate partners.
Develop and implement a comprehensive funding strategy that diversifies revenue streams and strengthens financial sustainability.
Negotiate and structure investment deals and partnership agreements to maximize value for the organization.
Monitor trends in the investment and fundraising landscape to keep the company competitive and attractive to funders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment of funding activities with business goals.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Proven track record of successfully raising funds during investment rounds in a corporate, startup, or nonprofit environment.
Strong network of investor and partner contacts with the ability to open doors and close deals.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to align funding initiatives with organizational priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
