    Position Summary

    Hive Group, a HUBZone-certified SDVOSB and multiple award-winning organization, delivers innovative solutions for complex, mission-critical federal programs. We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Financial Analyst to provide comprehensive financial management support for the Technical Acquisition Support Services Contract (TASSC) III supporting our Space Force client. This role assists in budget formulation, cost analysis, financial reporting, and funds tracking to ensure accurate and timely financial data is available to support decision-making. 

    In this position, the analyst leads defined work streams or specialized functional responsibilities, delivers complex work with a high degree of independence, while contributing materially to delivery outcomes across engagements. Specifically, the Financial Analyst will provide a comprehensive financial review of all contractors charging and invoicing for assigned contracts. The review shall include a weekly reconciliation of contractor charges to specific Job Order Numbers recorded in the Government approved accounting system with charges identified in the Contractor’s approved management system. The Financial Analyst will provide expert advice and assist in validation and reconciliation of funding allocation and expenditures. 

    This work requires employees to be On-Site at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida and requires an Active Secret Clearance. 

    Key Responsibilities

    Conduct weekly financial reviews and reconciliations of contractor charges against Job Order Numbers in the government accounting system, while providing expert funding advice.Analyze current and prior year expenditures to detect potential cost overruns or underruns, ensuring compliance with strict budgetary boundaries.Balance historical cost reports and finalize remaining contract balances to successfully execute the administrative close-out of task orders.Undergo baseline onboarding, maintain system access, and stay informed on business rules affecting key stakeholders like NASA and SpaceX.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in program financial analysis.ACTIVE Secret Clearance Required.Working knowledge of standard DoD/Federal financial applications, including:Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).Comptroller Financial Information System (CFIS).Commanders’ Resource Information System (CRIS).FMSuites.Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS).Any Government-approved Accounting System.Strong understanding of foundational accounting concepts and rules.Knowledge tracking the progression of funds (e.g., commitments, obligations, expenditures).Familiarity with federally allocated funding types, timelines, and legal constraints.Ability to evaluate financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies.Capability to recommend strategic processes and financial enhancements.Proven skill in substantiating financial transactions and maintaining rigorous

    accounting controls.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience with Microsoft Power BI to leverage data visualization in order to enhance financial reporting, build automated dashboards, and improve data-driven decision-making. Compensation and Benefits

    The estimated compensation range for this position is between $75,000 and $85,000 annually.  Actual salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s specialized skills, certifications, and years of experience.

    We are seeking a Communication Strategist as part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work supporting DHS, USCIS. Candidates are encouraged to submit their information and resumes highlighting their relevant experience. This position will be fully on-site work in the Washington, D.C area.

    Position Responsibilities

    Demonstrated expertise in executive-level communications, messaging frameworks, and stakeholder engagement. Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives. Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills tailored for diverse audiences. Ability to coordinate across functional teams to ensure clear, consistent messaging.       Develop and execute communication strategies with clearly defined target audiences, key messages, and delivery channels. Ensure all communications adhere to Plain Language guidelines and 508 compliance standards. Develop communication strategies aligned with VER, FOD, USCIS, and DHS priorities. Advise PMs and POs regarding messages for target audiences, including defining specific messages, identifying most effective avenues, and optimizing the timing and sequencing of key outreach and activities. Facilitate stakeholder engagement, awareness campaigns, and training sessions. Leverage Prosci, lean Agile, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies for change adoption, with focus on aligning agency, division, and program objectives. Implement feedback and continuous improvement around change management and adoption, including use of retrospectives, surveys and survey data, and frequently asked questions (FAQs) to ascertain and address stakeholder perception. Leverage best practices and leading technologies (i.e., Infographics, the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite of products, Mural, etc.) to develop innovative communications products that drive awareness, acceptance, and buy-in of the projects and products. 

    Required Qualifications
