We are seeking a Project Controller to join our team at Hitchcock Design Group. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to our Project Managers, playing a critical role in the financial planning, execution, and oversight of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project accounting, be highly analytical, and possess excellent judgment when guiding financial decisions. You’ll be responsible for project set-up, invoicing, budgeting, and identifying trends and risks to support optimal project performance. This position offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the firm’s financial outcomes. Experience Level Recommendation:3+ years of experience in project accounting or a similar financial management roleBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)

Job Duties:Manage project set-up, billing terms, time transfers, and budget monitoringOversee implementation of contract terms and project accounting structuresAnalyze complex project financials and provide actionable insights to improve performanceEnsure compliance with internal policies, contract requirements, and regulatory standardsServe as a primary contact for clients regarding project invoicing and financial summariesResolve financial and billing issues using sound judgment and discretionPartner with Project Managers to provide financial training and promote consistency in financial operationsInfluence project-level financial strategies and contribute to firm-wide improvements

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience
