The Big Task
You will coordinate technician schedules, optimize daily routes, and ensure every customer receives prompt, professional service while maximizing technician productivity and delivering an exceptional customer experience. As the primary Plumbing Dispatcher, you'll also assist with HVAC scheduling throughout the day while keeping the team focused, organized, and on process.
Key Tasks
Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians while coordinating HVAC service calls as needed.
Monitor technician progress throughout the day and make real-time schedule adjustments.
Manage schedule gaps, delays, emergency calls, and changing priorities.
Communicate appointment updates, delays, and arrival times with customers.
Partner with the Customer Service Representative team to maximize booked calls and technician productivity.
Maintain accurate schedules, customer information, and job notes within ServiceTitan.
Help improve dispatch efficiency, technician utilization, and same-day service completion.
Work closely with technicians, managers, and office staff to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Help reinforce company processes while encouraging and motivating the team throughout the day.
Provide a positive, professional presence that contributes to a winning team culture.
Desired Skills and Experience
Two or more years of dispatching, scheduling, logistics, or customer service experience preferred.
Previous experience in the plumbing, HVAC, or home services industry strongly preferred.
Experience working for a Nexstar company or familiarity with Nexstar systems and processes highly preferred.
ServiceTitan experience preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
