Hire Priority Staffing is hiring a Property Manager for a lease-up apartment community in Johnson City, TX. This is a great opportunity for an energetic, customer-focused property management professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, drive leasing performance, and help lead a growing community through lease-up and stabilization.
We are looking for someone with strong leasing and sales ability, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive approach to marketing, outreach, and resident engagement. This role is ideal for an experienced Property Manager or an Assistant Property Manager ready to grow into a Property Manager position. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, self-motivated, and excited to be visible in the community while helping build traffic, close prospects, and support resident retention.
Job Details:Position: Property ManagerPosition Type: Full-timeLocation: Johnson City, TXCommunity Size: 160 unitsSchedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PMMust live within 25 minutes of the propertyNew Construction/ Lease-up communityCommunity is partially under construction
Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of a lease-up apartment communityDrive leasing performance and help convert prospects into residentsManage traffic, follow-up, touring, and closing activitySupport marketing, outreach, and business development efforts to generate trafficAttend Chamber of Commerce meetings, networking events, and other community outreach opportunitiesBuild relationships through door knocking, community outreach, and local marketing effortsPlan and support resident engagement activities and community functionsAssist with resident retention and help maintain a positive resident experienceSupport Accounts Payable functions and general office operationsUse CRM systems and Yardi to manage leasing, resident, and operational tasksSuccessfully manage a community that is still under construction while maintaining strong customer service and leasing momentum
Qualifications:Previous Property Manager experience preferredAssistant Property Managers ready to grow into a Property Manager role will also be consideredLease-up experience highly preferredStrong leasing and sales background with the ability to close prospectsYardi experience preferred; training availableAccounts Payable experience required or strongly preferredExperience with outside marketing and business development preferredMust be comfortable attending networking events and representing the community professionallyMust be passionate about resident engagement and community functionsMust be outgoing, energetic, organized, and self-motivatedExcellent customer service and communication skills requiredKnowledge of and ability to comply with Fair Housing laws requiredMust be able to provide valid identification, proof of authorization to work in the United States, and complete the application and interview processMust be able to pass a criminal background check
