Position Summary
The Construction Manager I is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and customer expectations. The Construction Manager I coordinates subcontractors, field teams, materials, and project resources while maintaining strong communication with clients, internal leadership, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finishCoordinate daily project activities, subcontractors, field personnel, and vendorsEnsure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standardsMaintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal team membersMonitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocationEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and building codesConduct site visits and monitor construction progress to ensure project objectives are metAct as liaison between Company, field personnel, subcontractors, and customersIdentify and resolve project issues, delays, or conflicts in a timely mannerMaintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status updates to managementReport daily construction activities to the Construction Manager and Project ManagerSupport a safe and productive work environment for all personnel on siteMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of construction management experienceStrong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codesExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related systems/toolsPreferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field5+ years of construction management experienceExperience managing large-scale construction projectsExperience using project management softwareProfessional certification in Construction Management or related discipline Read Less
