Duties
Assist with the preparation of concrete forms, rebar installation, and placement of concrete using mixers and pumpsOperate hand tools and power tools for finishing surfaces, smoothing, and detailing concrete structuresSupport the pouring process by coordinating with team members to ensure even distribution and proper setting of concretePerform finishing tasks such as troweling, edging, floating, and sealing to achieve smooth, level surfacesRead blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate executionHelp with demolition, restoration, or renovation work involving concrete or masonry componentsMaintain safety standards by adhering to protocols during heavy lifting, equipment operation, and site activitiesRequirements

Willingness to learn and master all the aspects of the paving and sealing industry.Operate all types of asphalt paving equipment including but not limited to; asphalt paver, screed, rollers, broom skid steer, road mill, sealer machines, tar machines, Desco 2000’s and excavators.Shovel, lute and spread asphalt.Able and willing to lift and carry different materials of various weights and able to move and lift 50 lbs. on a reoccurring basis.Push and pull objects/hand operated tools.Housekeeping of job site and equipment.Assist in maintaining equipment so that the equipment is kept in working order.Always aware of safety issues, maintains a safe work environment.Use PPE while on jobsite e.g., hard hat safety glasses, ear protection, high visibility vest or shirt, steel toe boots, pants, and gloves.Able to work individually and as a team, follow directions given by crew leaders or foreman.Willing to take on challenges and grow as a vital employee of the company.This job description is a summary of the primary responsibilities of and qualifications for this position.
