Were looking for a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our team. In this role, youll be responsible for assembling cabinet parts into finished units, ensuring each piece fits accurately and meets quality standards. Youll work with hand and power tools to build cabinets with precision. Strong manual dexterity and technical know-how are key. You should be able to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions with accuracy. The goal is to build well-constructed, high-quality cabinets by assembling individual components into complete products.
Responsibilities
Read and comprehend instructions and follow established proceduresCollect all material and equipment needed to begin the processTake precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of componentsSelect or modify components according to measurements and specificationsAlign material and put together parts to build more complex unitsCheck output to ensure highest qualityMaintain equipment in good conditionKeep records of production quantities and timeReport on issues, malfunction or defective partsSkills
Proven experience as assemblerTechnical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)Good understanding of quality control principlesGood communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical conditionHigh school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school will be appreciatedQualifications
Trade school, high school diploma or GED1-2 years of cabinetry assemblyProficiency in using hand tools and power toolsExperience in construction, carpentry, and quality controlStrong communication skillsKnowledge of trim carpentry and frame carpentry techniques
