This role exists to support continued growth in aerospace and defense machining programs that require high-precision turned components. At H&H Machining Center, this position is critical to maintaining quality and delivery performance on tight-tolerance, flight-critical parts where machining expertise and consistency directly impact program success.
The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will set up, operate, and program CNC turning centers including Doosan PUMA 2600SY and similar machines, taking parts from raw stock through finished production. You will write and edit Fanuc CNC programs directly at the machine control while selecting tooling, establishing workholding, and optimizing speeds and feeds for both new and repeat jobs.
You will read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements while holding tight tolerances of 0.0005" or better on aerospace-grade materials. You will perform in-process inspection using precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and CMM systems. You will also troubleshoot machining issues such as chatter or dimensional variation and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

At H&H Machining Center, this position is critical to producing tight-tolerance, flight-critical parts where quality, consistency, and machining expertise directly impact aerospace and defense program success.
The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes including 3, 4, and 5-axis machines while programming parts from scratch using Mastercam or Fusion 360. You will machine prototype and low-volume precision components directly from engineering blueprints, ensuring all GD&T requirements are met. You will be responsible for selecting tooling, setting offsets, and establishing setups to maintain process stability and repeatability.
You will perform in-process inspection using precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment while maintaining tight tolerances of 0.0005" or better. You will troubleshoot toolpaths, optimize cutting parameters, and make machine-level adjustments using G-code knowledge as needed. Collaboration with engineering, quality, and other machinists will be required to ensure all parts meet AS9100D standards and customer requirements.

You will work with CNC milling and turning equipment including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machines. CNC controls include Fanuc, Haas, and Mazatrol systems. CAM programming is performed using Mastercam (preferred) or Fusion 360, with G-code required for machine-level edits and troubleshooting. Responsibilities:
