The Category Consultant will influence the development and implementation of category initiatives in support of insights and capabilities. Accountabilities: Acts as the Category Expert to ensure the execution of the Strategic Business Plan to make topline sales plan, net sales goals and achieve sales share targets. This includes using tools and data to ensure the execution of the support strategic business plan. Supports Category Management Department to ensure corporate objectives and distribution goals are met through tools such as, but not limited to, Circana (IRI), Circana Scan Panel, Numerator Insights (Data). Synthesize actionable insights using retailer data, internal/syndicated data sources, and shopper insights. Effectively penetrate internal and external stakeholders horizontally and vertically to align on category initiatives. Perform category reviews and build planograms using JDA to support incremental category growth. Perform and analyze routine reports on performance and distribution using tools such as Mekko PPT Charts, Excel. Develop and create Category Management department efficiencies by partnering with Sales and Retail team business partners. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Experience: Category Management and/or CPG Sales experience (2-5 years) Skills: Demonstrate strong data storytelling capabilities through strategic use of tools such as PowerPoint Charts and/or Mekko. Display strong technical aptitude shown through data analysis capabilities. Foundational knowledge of analytic tools such as, Circana (IRI), Circana Scan Panel, Numerator Insights (Data), Placer.ai, 84.51. Have working knowledge of space analytics and the tools to support it, such as JDA Space Planning (optional). This position is responsible for managing a superior safe, quality, efficient and cost-effective operation through proficiently leading and directing Production Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisors and hourly maintenance and production employees to ensure compliance with established company rules, plant policies and procedures on a specific shift. Also responsible for meeting set production schedules with minimum downtime and production loss, Sanitation, CIP, logistics and responsible for the overall plant assets on that shift.
