Medical Assistant Instructor (Medical Assistant or LPN)
Position Summary
Heritage Health Career Center is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a Medical Assistant Instructor. The instructor is responsible for providing classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction while preparing students for successful entry into the healthcare workforce.
Responsibilities
Teach Medical Assistant curriculum in accordance with school policies and state requirements.Provide hands-on instruction in clinical and administrative medical assisting skills.Evaluate student performance through skills check-offs, quizzes, and examinations.Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.Foster a positive, professional learning environment.Prepare students for externship and employment.Attend faculty meetings, trainings, and professional development as required.Qualifications
Current Medical Assistant certification or active LPN license.Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting.Strong communication and organizational skills.Previous teaching or training experience preferred but not required.Passion for mentoring and developing future healthcare professionals.
