    Schedule: 8a-5p; Monday–Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required.

    Work Setting: In-Person; on-site across multiple Heritage facility locations

    Position Overview:

    Heritage Behavioral Health Center (HBHC) is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) providing comprehensive behavioral health and primary care services to individuals and families across central Illinois. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Specialist to ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for the staff and individuals we serve.

    As a Maintenance Specialist, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across our Decatur and Clinton facilities in Macon and DeWitt Counties. You will work closely with the Director of Operations and Safety team to ensure a secure, compliant, and well-maintained environment.     Core Responsibilities:

    Facility Maintenance & Repairs

    Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across all Heritage facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentryConduct routine building inspections and complete preventive maintenance on scheduleRespond promptly to maintenance requestssubmittedthrough the Maintenance email systemProactivelyidentifyfacility issues and address them before they are formally reportedAssistwith general cleaning of Heritage’s main facility and provide support at off-site locations as needed

    Grounds & Seasonal Responsibilities

    Perform snow and ice removal during inclement weather tomaintainsafe access to all Heritage facilitiesMaintain building exteriors and groundsin accordance withagency standards

    Compliance & Safety

    Assist the Director of Operations in ensuring all Heritage buildingscomply withOSHA and CARF facility standardsDocument all maintenance activities accurately and report issues to leadershipin a timely mannerFollow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of tools and personal protective equipment

    Logistics & Vendor Support

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Compensation & Benefits

    Your Role:

    Employment Specialist – IPS Supported Employment


    As an Employment Specialist providing Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services at Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Decatur, Illinois, you will help individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges obtain and maintain competitive, integrated employment aligned with their preferences. This role follows the IPS evidence-based model, emphasizing rapid job search, individualized support, and integration with clinical treatment teams.


    You will work collaboratively with clinical staff, employers, and community partners to support individuals in achieving meaningful employment, enhancing recovery, independence, and overall quality of life.


    Core Responsibilities:

    Provide individualized job development and placement services based on client preferences, strengths, and experiences.Support rapid job search efforts, minimizing pre-employment barriers and focusing on competitive employment.Develop relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities and advocate for clients.Assist clients with resume development, job applications, interview preparation, and job retention skills.Provide ongoing, individualized support to help clients maintain employment, including on-the-job coaching as needed.Collaborate closely with behavioral health treatment teams to integrate employment goals into overall care.Educate clients on how employment may impact benefits and connect them to benefits counseling as needed.Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with IPS fidelity standards and agency requirements.Participate in team meetings, supervision, and IPS fidelity reviews to ensure high-quality service delivery.

    Your Role:

    Care Coordinator, Youth and Family – Heritage Behavioral Health Center (Decatur, Illinois)

    As a Care Coordinator for Youth and Family, you will serve as the primary point of contact for youth enrolled in the Pathways to Success program and their families. Your mission is to ensure that each child receives integrated, person-centered care that addresses behavioral health, physical health, and social determinants of health. You will work collaboratively with families, providers, and community partners to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote stability, recovery, and long-term success.

    Core Responsibilities:

    Engage youth and families to build trust and ensure active participation in care planning. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral health needs, physical health concerns, and social service requirements. Develop and maintain individualized care plans that reflect family voice and choice, cultural considerations, and strengths-based approaches. Coordinate services across multiple systems, including mental health, primary care, education, child welfare, and juvenile justice. Facilitate Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings to ensure collaborative decision-making and progress monitoring. Monitor service delivery and outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed to meet evolving needs. Provide crisis support and linkage to appropriate resources when urgent needs arise.
