Phoenix, AZ Salary: $50,000–$60,000 depending on experience.
Homewood Suites Phoenix Airport South is seeking an experienced, service-driven Guest Services Manager to join our team. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing front desk operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing team members, and supporting the day-to-day success of the property.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys coaching and developing employees, and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
What You'll Do:
Guest Experience & Front Desk Operations
Lead and oversee daily front desk operations.Ensure guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay.Resolve guest concerns and service recovery issues professionally and efficiently.Monitor guest feedback and online reviews, responding appropriately and implementingimprovements.Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, coach, and mentor front desk team members.Conduct ongoing training and performance evaluations.Foster a positive, accountable, and guest-focused work environment.Lead departmental meetings and communicate operational updates effectively.Scheduling, Payroll & Operations
Create and maintain employee schedules.Review timecards and assist with payroll administration.Monitor productivity, attendance, and labor costs.Provide operational coverage during staffing shortages and peak business periods.Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
Review cash handling procedures and investigate discrepancies.Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.Maintain accurate records and reporting.Prepare weekly operational reports and communicate key information to leadership.What We're Looking For
Previous hospitality leadership experience preferred.

As the Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing, stocking of food and service ware for a light evening meal on Wednesdays.
Other duties include busing and cleaning work area, stocking of food and maintaining supplies.
Must maintain a professional appearance and a cordial attitude towards all guests and staff.
Must be people oriented and able to work independently or with others as needed.
Must be able to follow written and/or oral directions in English. Food handlers permit required.

JOB SUMMARY
The Houseperson is hired in a fiduciary position, responsible for the security of the employer’s monies and properties at all times. The Houseperson is responsible for the security and safety of employer, guest and all other employees. The Houseman’s responsibility is to ensure guest satisfaction by providing efficient, courteous and professional services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assists all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, whenever possible going the extra mile and doing whatever it takes to ensure guest satisfaction.
2. Maintains cleanliness of public spaces including restrooms, lobby, business center, lodge area, pool area, corridors, fitness center and conference rooms.
3. Promptly responds to front desk reports of in house guest problems or concerns, informs the front desk when action is complete.
4. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, as well as the local area and effectively assists guests.
5. Maintains the grounds, and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe, and attractive manner.
6. Safely and courteously shuttles guests to and from their destinations while obeying all traffic and safety laws.
7. Maintain the cleanliness of the shuttle van and notifies supervisor of any necessary vehicle repairs needed.
8. Set up and tear down of meetings according to conference specifications.
9. Understand and apply all hotel safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for all employees and guests.
10. Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his\her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken.
11. Performs other duties as requested or required by management and or owner.
12. Maintain accurate use of all required logs including shuttle log, shift log, key logs, etc.
13. Assist maintenance with general maintenance of building when needed including changing light bulbs, cleaning filters, and other maintenance issues in a timely manner to ensure a great guest experience.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
1. Ability to accept directions and priorities from supervisor and reliably follow through on tasks.
2. Ability to perform job duties with a minimum of disruption to the guest.
3. Ability to be friendly and cheerful; interact easily with strangers.
4. Ability to cooperate and support others.
