A warm and loving family near Lake Balboa is seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Adult Caregiver to support their mother, who is living with MS. She has difficulty getting around, needs help with daily living activities, and requires transportation to medical appointments.

Responsibilities
Assist with mobility, including use of walker and wheelchairProvide safe transfers and lifting (in/out of bed and support as needed)Transport client to medical appointments (10 miles or less)Support with toileting; client currently experiencing increasing accidentsAssistance with showering and general hygieneHelp maintain a consistent meal schedule and oversee regular eatingEncourage healthy habits (family is trying to help her reduce/stop smoking-- currently has been cigarette free for several weeks!)Provide companionship, patience, and emotional support as she navigates loss of independenceEnsure she can safely participate in activities she enjoysGeneral monitoring for safety throughout the day
Requirements
Ability to safely lift and assist with transfersComfortable assisting with walker and wheelchairValid driver's license; able to drive client to appointmentsCPR CertifiedAt least 2 years of professional, in home, adult care
Compensation + BenefitsThis position pays $25 per hour, and the family is looking for 40 hours of care per week. Gas reimbursement if using personal vehicle for appointments
