    Job Title: Accountant
    Pay: From $100,000 - $150,000 per year
    Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm

    As an Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations through precise data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining impeccable financial records. You will collaborate closely with our accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance, helping keep our company's financial health on track.


    What You'll Do
    As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:

    Entering daily financial transactions into Sage 100 to ensure real-time accuracy.Maintaining detailed and precise accounting records across various financial platforms.Performing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to verify account balances.Managing accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.Assisting in preparing financial reports for internal use, auditors, and management.Organizing and maintaining all financial documents for quick access and audit readiness.Supporting the team with ad hoc accounting tasks and process improvements.


    What You'll Bring
    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    Pay: $44.52 - $66.49 per hour

As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll oversee and execute complex payroll functions, ensuring precise and compliant processing for employees and stakeholders. You’ll collaborate closely with management to maintain payroll accuracy and streamline operations, supporting the overall success of the organization.


    What You’ll Do:

    Manage the entire bi-weekly payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payments in compliance with federal, state, and district policies.Perform detailed calculations for payroll taxes, retroactive payments, leave of absence adjustments, terminations, and voluntary deductions.Prepare, analyze, and reconcile payroll reports, maintaining meticulous records for audits and reporting purposes.Research and implement updates to payroll reporting and processing, ensuring ongoing legal and regulatory compliance.Test and validate payroll system updates, troubleshoot employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, and provide comprehensive reports to internal and external stakeholders.Interpret policies and regulations, advising staff on payroll procedures, and ensure all payroll activities align with collective bargaining agreements, personnel policies, and wage orders.Prepare payroll-related filings, reconcile reports with payroll general ledger accounts, and assist in payroll audits. 


    What You’ll Bring:

    High school diploma, supplemented with college coursework in bookkeeping or accounting; an associate’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.A minimum of three years’ experience in in-house payroll processing, preferably within municipal government, is required.Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, especially Oracle, is highly desirable.You should possess advanced knowledge of payroll software systems, federal and state payroll regulations, retirement administration, and compliance audits.Strong mathematical and record-keeping skills, along with excellent problem-solving abilities, are essential.Effective communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to interpret complex policies accurately.Certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.Company DescriptionFor more than 50 years, Helpmates has been connecting job seekers with opportunities in a variety of specialties.     As a Quality Control Inspector , you'll role purpose . You'll work closely with manager, department, or team to deliver results that make a difference.


    What You'll Do

    As a Quality Control Inspector , you will be responsible for


    Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections to ensure parts and completed assemblies meet engineering drawings and purchase specifications.

    Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T to verify tolerances using precision measuring tools.

    Set up, calibrate, and use mechanical and electronic measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and related tools.

    Conduct final quality checks and validation/functional testing prior to shipment to support defect-free delivery.

    Document inspection results, non-conformance reports, and certification data accurately according to company procedures.

    What You'll Bring

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    Experience reading blueprints and working with assembly requirements.

    Hands-on ability with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, and similar tools).

    Knowledge of quality inspection principles, including ISO standards and GD&T (ANSI Y-14.5).

    Strong communication skills and a collaborative, detail-focused mindset.
