    JOB SUMMARY

    Crisis Services Coordinator is responsible for administrative tasks including reports, scheduling, and training. Services Coordinator will provide supervision to designated employees. Clinical responsibilities include on-call and clinical direction while on site. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, Services Coordinator will meet with clients and treatment team as clinically indicated. Facilitate referral-related activities to link clients with needed services. Follow-up on clinical directives to ensure client treatment is being rendered. Complete assessments at main site and in the community setting as needed. This position requires certification in and adequate implementation of verbal and physical de-escalation techniques that include a wide range of bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding another person, going down on knees, running, and walking. This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment. Regular attendance is an essential job function. Due to CSU and WIC being 24 hours/7 days per week programming, the following expectation is applied to all staff working in these programs. All staff will be present and on time for shift in order to relieve previous shift.All staff will stay on shift until relief coverage arrive. All staff have been briefed on the nature of the programming and understand that shifts must be covered in order to keep our staff and clients safe.All staff recognize that if bad weather is predicted be prepared to make it in prior to poor travel conditions and to stay until relieve staff can make it in.

    1. Participates as an active member of the crisis team.

    Begins and ends workday as scheduled and is accessible by cell phone when in the field.Communicates with triage to determine priority of call if more than one call is pending.Responds appropriately to all flags, emails, and voicemails.Demonstrates a consideration and concern for fellow workers and their jobs and promotes harmonious relationships and attitudesAttends and participates in scheduled administrative team meetingsMeet with designated employees at least monthly for clinical supervision.

    2. Completes documentation of client care in compliance with CARF and SSOC standards.

    Completes all necessary documentation for each client before end of shift.Clearly documents time of referrals and declines.Flags, emails, or calls case managers/therapist to alert provider that client was seen by Mobile Crisis.Fax all pertinent documentation for referrals and document accordingly.

    3. Provides face to face crisis assessments and coverage 24/7/365.

    Provides direction to client in crisis. Facilitates voluntary/involuntary placement for client or gives referral information to client. Ensures that all clients are seen within two-hour time frame when possible.Provides on-call crisis intervention according to established protocolThrough client assessment, determine appropriate level of care and inform all parties involved of planProvide education and referral information when clinically appropriateActs as a liaison with community agencies and families to ensure appropriate care for clientDetermines appropriate location of assessment (i.e. community, telehealth, ED, etc)Spends adequate time with client during assessment to determine needs and most appropriate services and treatment available.Conducts individual/family/significant other therapy with CSU clients as clinically indicated.Provide direction to front line staff to ensure that clients are seen in a timely manner and according to priority.Will provide client transport as needed.Manages staff of MCU assessments.Maintains all productivity standards of CSU and MCU.Meets CU and MCU expected outcomes.

    COMPENSATION:

    Starting salary for this position is approximately $72,851/yr based on relevant experience and education.

    QUALIFICATIONS - Hamblen Crisis Services Coordinator

    Education/Knowledge:

    A Master's degree in a health-related field of counseling, psychology, social work, sociology and experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or co-occurring diagnoses. Preferred Master's level licensed or license eligible clinician. Must obtain F endorsement.

    Experience:

    Must have course work and or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and crisis intervention. Must have experience in working with special populations including individuals with Severe and Persistent Mental Illnesses and Co-Occurring Disorders. Computer experience is helpful. Experience working in a crisis setting preferred.

    Physical/Emotional/Social - Skills/Abilities:

    Exposure to biological hazards. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Close eye work. Valid driver's license. Lifting up to 50 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.

    Oversee and supervise day-to-day operations of the Family Crisis Center emergency domestic violence shelter. Completes documentation and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting in accordance with funding requirements. Provides supervision and case consultation to Advocacy Team Leader and milieu staff. Manages 24/7 shelter staff schedule. Assists with quality improvement and program updates to ensure implementation of best practices and trauma-informed care. Flexible schedule required.

    QUALIFICATIONS - Family Crisis Center Shelter Supervisor

    Experience / Knowledge:

    Must have course work and or experience in the areas of psychopathology, counseling, theory, cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse and mental illness. Minimum of two years of clinical experience with specialized training/course work in trauma and victim services preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.

    Education / License:

    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or other related field of study. Clinical knowledge necessary to provide clinical services and supervision of staff. Training or post-graduate study in domestic violence, substance abuse, trauma, child psychopathology, child development, or clinical interventions with youth and families.

    Input/print out necessary information in EMR for scheduling purposes on a daily basis.Provide reminder phone call to client/family 24 hours prior to appointment on a daily basis.Maintain cancellation list for filling in appointment purposes and update daily.     The Sevier County School Based Mental Health Liaison

    The School Based Mental Health Liaison (SBMHL) program provides direct mental health services in the Sevier County school system. Liaisons will provide individual consultation to teachers and assist them in structuring classrooms to enhance the learning environment for children whose risk of developing an emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse problem is significantly higher than average or children who have minimal but detectable signs or symptoms foreshadowing a disorder. Liaisons will provide training and education to teachers, school staff, and students to promote healthy learning environments. Liaisons will work closely with families and assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEP). Liaisons will also provide direct services to identified students. Liaisons will demonstrate knowledge and competency in mental health service provision and leadership.

    1. Provides all services to insure successful implementation of Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services grant.

    Conducts individual, family, and group counseling.Provides advocacy, linkage, and referral services as needed.Provides mental health assessments and evaluations.Participates in IEP and other school related meetings.Provides parent, school or school staff training.Interfaces professionally with school personnel and other agenciesConducts group sessions with children and/or parents.Interfaces professionally with school personnel and provides therapeutic support.

    1. Daily Staff Duties.

    Ensures that documentation is completed accurately within required time frames: including, but not limited to Releases of Information, consents, referrals, and notes within TN-Wits, Centricity or other record as assigned.Responsible for completing Government Performance and Results (GPRAs) at three required time frames with program participants with a completion rate of 80% or greater.Arranges with supervisor a coverage plan to ensure services continue when team member is on leave or unavoidably unavailable to a specific client or clients.Completes logs, screening, follow up and any other required or requested tools accurately and on time, including closing and discharge documentation.Assists Team Leader with data ensuring program evaluation, quality assurance, and improvement indicators, and client satisfaction are regularly and accurately reflected.Keeps all private and/or confidential information in secure location or in approved locked HRMC bags and follows HIPAA and 42CFRPart2 regulations in all circumstances.Stays current on all required relias training, CPR, and First Aid certifications as well as verbal and physical de-escalation skills training.Ensures time sheets and other requirements are up-to-date and accurate.

Clinician is present and ready to begin session at the appointment time, every session. Clinician calls to reschedule any sessions that he/she will be unable to attend or that the consumer missed or canceled 100% of the time. Clinician communicates accurate and thorough information to outside agencies 100% of the time when clients need different or more appropriate care that HRMC cannot provide. Ensures therapy contacts are completed each month, according to program standards. 2. Provides diagnostic Psycho-Social Assessments Clinician completes intakes and assessments within 45 business days of contact. Assessments will be completed in coordination with Assessment Team and Client Benefits as evidenced by communicating any issues concerning clients or assessment. Clinicians will provide intake coverage, as directed by program coordinator 3. Documentation requirements Ensures all family/client participation in treatment planning as evidence by signatures on treatment plans. Communicates to Services Coordinator if referrals become low in weekly supervisions. Meet weekly with direct supervisor to discuss clinical and administrative concerns/ changes Create and implement treatment interventions that are reflected in progress note documentation based on the treatment plan goals Respond to all flags and e-mails within 2 business days Respond to all voice mails within 30 minutes If licensed, signing the non-licensed clinicians' treatment plans and being available for clinical consult Attend weekly/biweekly treatment teams with school personnel Attend weekly treatment teams and staffing meetings with Services Coordinator Attend and participate in school-based meetings with school personnel and community partners involved in the community schools. Complete all required clinical documentation in accordance with Center Policy and Procedure and funding source guidelines. Update treatment plans, crisis plans, consent to contact, DLA-20 and updated admissions signature page every 6 months Completes intakes within 10 days of school referral, as applicable. Complete and submit productivity II summaries to Services Coordinator 5th of the following month. Complete productivity for 65-70 completed sessions per month. Complete intake treatment plans within 30 days of intake Create daily progress notes and sign in EMR within 4 business days of service provided Submit all daily contact logs within one week of the occurrence. Submit hand generated productivity to program coordinator by the second working business day of the month. COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is approximately $50,751/year based on relevant experience and education. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Travel : Potential travel required to family homes to provide therapy services or meet families out in the community Equipment/Technology: Position must be able to complete electronic documentation. Basic computer skills are required for email, timekeeping, and documentation in the electronic medical record. QUALIFICATIONS - School Based Master's Level Clinician Experience / Knowledge: Must have course work and or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and intellectual disabilities. One year experience preferred. Experience working with children is preferred although applicants may have other skills and experiences that could accommodate this position. This person will either possess experience or training in the Re-Education Philosophy or will acquire such training in the course of employment. Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license with an F endorsement OR the ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license in order to transport clients as needed. Transporting clients in a personal or Center vehicle is an essential function of this position. Education / License : Master's degree in human services or related field with coursework or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, and intellectual disabilities. Degree must be license eligible. Demonstrated knowledge and competency in mental health service provision and leadership. This position also requires that the employee has an F Endorsement on his/her Driver License to be available to transport individuals as needed. This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment. Ability to present professionally and work within a team format to plan, implement, and evaluate successful interventions. Ability to effectively run and process groups with children and families. Ability to work within a team format to meet positive goals for children and interface with other agencies involved in the ecology of the family. Must be capable of assisting in utilizing non-violent methods of crisis intervention including therapeutic holding. Must have mental ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure. Effective decision-making, ability to set and demonstrate appropriate boundaries, ability to be an empathic listener, flexibility, willingness, and adaptability to working with diverse populations. Must also have the ability to communicate effectively and possess good time management and organizational skills. Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal and physical de-escalation techniques that include a wide range of bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding another person, running, and walking. Physical de-escalation techniques will only be implemented at Helen Ross McNabb Center facilities, and not in community settings. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Close eye work.
